Role Summary

The SAP SuccessFactors Platform Manager owns the delivery, operation, governance, and continuous improvement of the SAP SuccessFactors platform. SAP SuccessFactors experience is essential. The role partners closely with HR, IT, Finance, and external partners to deliver stable, secure, scalable HR technology. This is a hands-on leadership role managing a team of 4-6 individual contributors across Manila and the UK. We need someone who can build trust with HR, challenge existing processes and assumptions, and shape solutions, not simply implement requested changes.

What You Will Do

  • Mature the HR technology operating model, including governance, release management, support processes, data quality, service ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage a SuccessFactors development team of 4-6 individual contributors across Manila and the UK, covering new module delivery, enhancements, integrations, releases, and business-as-usual support.
  • Drive end-to-end project delivery, including scope, planning, execution, reporting, risks, issues, timelines, and budgets.
  • Oversee SuccessFactors configuration, testing, deployment, role-based permissions, integrations, data quality, and compliance controls.
  • Partner with HR and business stakeholders to capture requirements, challenge existing approaches, and translate needs into simple, scalable technology solutions.
  • Translate HR strategy into a practical technology roadmap that improves employee experience, manager self-service, process efficiency, automation, compliance, and reporting quality.
  • Facilitate Agile delivery, including backlog prioritisation, sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and clear reporting on progress and blockers.
  • Use AI as a core delivery capability across analysis, planning, documentation, testing, stakeholder communication, automation opportunities, and continuous improvement.
  • Support HR with the delivery and improvement of other HR technology platforms where required, ensuring joined-up planning, governance, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Shape solutions with HR and delivery teams, not simply implement requested changes.

What You Will Bring

  • Essential: significant hands-on SAP SuccessFactors experience, including platform administration, configuration, support, governance, release management, integrations, role-based permissions, and continuous improvement in a complex organisation.
  • Essential: proven experience delivering HR technology projects end to end, including planning, stakeholder management, risk management, reporting, and budget control.
  • Essential: experience working in Agile delivery environments, with the ability to manage backlogs, prioritize work, run effective ceremonies, and keep delivery focused on business value.
  • Confident working with senior HR stakeholders, with the judgement to challenge assumptions, influence decisions, and recommend better approaches when needed.
  • Good understanding of HR processes, data privacy, security, audit controls, compliance, and service management principles.
  • A degree in Information Technology, Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. Relevant SAP SuccessFactors, ITIL, Agile, or project management certifications are advantageous.
