About the Role
At SharkNinja, our Product Development team drives the global product roadmap from concept to shelf, always through the lens of the consumer. We act as "product CEOs," partnering cross functionally across the business to deliver 5 star products and strong commercial outcomes.
We are hiring a Product Development Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract to lead innovation across the UK and European markets. In this role, you will own the end to end development of products, from early concept through to retail launch and beyond, ensuring exceptional consumer experiences and high performing products in market.
You will work closely with Engineering, Quality, Marketing, Industrial Design, Consumer Insights, Customer Excellence, and regional teams, leading cross functional collaboration to deliver best in class results at pace.
What You'll Do
Lead and develop a team of Product Managers overseeing a 6 to 24 month pipeline of new product launches across the UK and Europe
Define and deliver product strategies, including product positioning, performance targets, and key messaging claims
Partner with global teams to ensure alignment on product vision, development milestones, and launch execution
Drive end to end product development from concept, validation, and tooling through to production and retail or online launch
Own product financials, including cost, margin, and overall category performance
Identify and mitigate risks across supply chain, quality, and compliance, ensuring all regional requirements are met
Champion the voice of the consumer throughout development, using insights and feedback to drive continuous improvement
Lead cross functional teams to make clear, timely decisions and maintain momentum across multiple projects
Act as a key partner to Marketing and Sales to ensure strong product storytelling and successful go to market execution
Deliver hands on validation and testing to ensure product readiness and internal confidence
Provide clear communication and updates to senior leadership, including participation in executive reviews
Build, develop, and mentor high performing teams, identifying talent gaps and supporting ongoing development
Challenge assumptions, drive innovation, and continuously look for ways to improve processes and outcomes
What You'll Bring
Proven experience in product development within a global consumer focused business, typically 6 or more years
A degree in Engineering or a related discipline, with advanced qualifications a plus
Strong track record of leading consumer driven innovation and bringing products successfully to market
Deep understanding of consumer needs, with the ability to translate insights into winning products
Strong commercial and analytical mindset, with experience managing financials and building business cases
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and present at all levels of the organisation
Experience leading and developing teams in a fast paced, high performance environment
A hands on, proactive approach with the ability to balance strategic thinking and execution
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting quickly to changing priorities
Collaborative mindset with respect for cross functional disciplines including Design, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing
Willingness to travel as required
