Job Description Summary
This is a fixed-term contract (maternity leave cover), offering the opportunity to partner with senior leaders and contribute to impactful people strategies within a dynamic, international environment.
Purpose of the Role
Partner closely with local senior management to deliver business outcomes by strengthening operational effectiveness, building critical capabilities, and fostering strong employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, People Business Partner, you will support leaders and employees in delivering strategic HR priorities aligned with business objectives.
This role has a broad remit across all People & Capability disciplines, including compensation and benefits, learning and development, performance management, talent and succession planning, talent acquisition, and employee relations. You will play a key role in designing and implementing corporate and local initiatives, in close partnership with the People & Capability community.
Key accountabilities include:• Partner with senior management and people managers to deliver P&C programs, policies, and processes in support of business objectives (e.g., performance management, talent reviews, annual compensation cycle). • Collaborate with European and global P&C colleagues to develop pragmatic solutions to complex HR matters.• Participate in business and functional meetings to build strong business acumen and ensure alignment of people initiatives with business priorities.• Partner with the business to successfully drive organizational change initiatives.• Support the attraction, hiring, and onboarding of high-quality talent in an efficient and effective manner. • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee development, including career development, performance management, and succession planning.• Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, ensuring issues are managed consistently, efficiently, and in line with local legislation and company policies. • Build strong cross-border relationships with P&C colleagues to support the achievement of shared objectives and ensure alignment with local requirements. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and local labor legislation through continuous learning and external networking.• Contribute to ad-hoc projects and initiatives supporting market priorities (e.g., health and safety, talent reviews, learning strategies, compensation reviews, organizational effectiveness).
Experience
The knowledge and skills required for this role are typically developed through a combination of education, experience, and exposure to similar environments.
Minimum Requirements• Solid experience in an HR Business Partner role within fast-paced, complex, and evolving environments. • Fluent in English (verbal and written); additional local language(s) are a plus depending on scope.• Strong knowledge of local labour law and HR practices.
Key Competencies• Customer-focused approach, delivering high-quality and value-added HR support to internal stakeholders. • Strong project management and organizational skills. • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management capabilities.• Broad expertise across HR disciplines, particularly in change management, employee engagement, employee relations, and performance management.• Strong business acumen and a strategic, solutions-oriented mindset• Ability to build effective relationships across matrixed and international environments.• Resilience and adaptability, with the ability to navigate change effectively. • Strong understanding of labour law, social legislation, and compensation & benefits practices. • Analytical mindset with a strong focus on data privacy and integrity.
