Location: London or Bristol (Hybrid)

A role you will love 

We are seeking a highly motivated experienced Manager to join our global team looking to make significant impact in the world of corporate governance.  

As a manager in our Global Entity Compliance service, you will lead, coach, and develop a team of Senior Consultants & Consultants based in in London and Bristol - creating an environment where individuals feel supported, challenged, and empowered to reach their true potential. 

Alongside people leadership, you will oversee a portfolio of key clients, acting as a trusted advisor while ensuring high quality, consistent delivery across over 120 jurisdictions, and cross functional collaboration. The role also involves supporting the sales team with pitches and resolving client escalations, ensuring swift resolution and ongoing client satisfaction. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Manage a client portfolio, ensuring they receive high‑quality service and their compliance, and governance needs are fully met. 

  • Act as the primary contact for top tier clients, providing strategic advice, identifying growth opportunities, and leading meetings to review performance, address challenges, and drive continuous service improvements. 

  • Resolve client escalations calmly and constructively, maintaining trust and long-term relationships. 

  • Monitor and oversee client budgets, ensuring projects are resourced appropriately and client projects are running to time and budget. 

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high‑performing compliance team, ensuring resources are effectively allocated. 

  • Ensure deliverables meet quality and compliance standards while identifying and mitigating client service and operational risks. 

  • Support the sales team with pitches and proposals, provide insights to enhance service offerings, and assist with marketing activities and events. 

  • Provide feedback to improve service processes and act as a liaison across teams to drive continuous service enhancement. 

  • Keep abreast of corporate governance, compliance and technology developments, providing expert guidance and partnering with Client Success and GEMS Technology teams to enhance tools and address client needs. 
     

What will you bring to the role? 

  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly adapt and contribute, with proven expertise in global entity management, corporate governance, or company secretarial functions within large global companies. 

  • Strong, passion-filled proven leadership capabilities with a focus on coaching, developing, and enabling high performing teams. 

  • Exceptional client/stakeholder management, with strong communication skills and the ability to navigate complex, high‑visibility matters through a collaborative, solutions‑focused approach. 

  • Experienced in driving and supporting organisational change, with a proactive and positive approach to change management. 

  • Composed, resilient, and able to maintain clarity and professionalism under pressure
