Title and Summary

Manager, Business Development

Playing a key role in the execution and delivery Mastercard’s digital payments capabilities, this position is focused on driving acceptance of Mastercard digital products and services across 3rd party Payment Gateways and ecosystem Enablers.
In order to deliver scalable digital acceptance in the UK&I, this role acts as the point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders for, but not exclusive to: Mastercard’s Card Tokenisation services, Disbursement products, Open Banking, SME focused initiatives, and a myriad of Cybersecurity solutions.
Role & Responsibilities
• Build relationships with, and deliver digital payment services and partnerships to 3rd party Payment Gateways and non-traditional customers, to expand Mastercard’s digital payments acceptance footprint
• Provide PSP, enabler and market development insight and support to internal teams and their customers, supporting the distribution of knowledge and best practices to assist in the acceleration of Acceptance
• Lead on customer engagement strategy and events, targeted at expanding Mastercard’s influence over these non-traditional customer types
• Coordinate key Partner Acceptance integrations and provide clear status communications
• Responsible for business case construction and budget allocation in support of channel led acceptance
• Working with regional product, construct and maintain user guides detailing the administrative processes required to onboard customers
• Work with revenue generating payment network partnerships, to advance product initiatives and transaction volumes
• Ensure all SFDC accounts, opportunities, contacts etc. are accurate and up to date
Experiences
• Comprehensive experience executing and managing strategies for large and medium-sized customer accounts
• Demonstrated knowledge of payments, esp. payment gateways
• Previous experience working for a Payment Service Provider (PSP) and/or transactional Cybersecurity services of benefit
• An understanding of MasterCard's core products, rules, and services a nice to have
• Strong commercial knowledge and understanding
• A confident and adept networker and presenter
• Team player and self-starter
• Highly organised and able to manage a complex projects and initiatives
