About the team

Our Implementation Team is responsible for onboarding and driving early lifecycle growth for our clients. We act as strategic consultants for the clients to ensure they are set up for long-term success on the Uber for Business platform.

About the Role

As an Manager, Implementation at Uber for Business, you will own and lead the implementation team within your region. You will partner with Sales Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure we are maximising revenue for both new and existing customers.

Your team will work closely with Account Executives and clients to customise and drive the implementation strategy for our Enterprise and Mid Market accounts. They will execute the strategy from launch through the initial 90 days post-sale with the goal of maximising end-user adoption and usage.  This is a hybrid role - our team collaborates in-person out of our incredible office in London 3 days/week. We encourage our employees to work from our office on additional days if they desire to do so.

What you’ll do

  • Manage a team of Implementation Leads primarily located in the UK as well as remote.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Managers and Account Executives to manage launch expectations and track adoption and usage through the early customer lifecycle, specifically the first 90 days post-sale
  • Map the processes of implementation, identifying roadblocks and solutions to meet the needs of each market or account type
  • Create Salesforce reports to manage the implementation pipeline and also provide insight metrics on how to drive performance.
  • Develop and maintain playbooks and performance trackers to support team performance and scalability
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, Support, and Sales Operations to resolve issues and implement solutions
  • Create and localize client-facing materials such as presentation decks, launch announcements, and enablement materials for different markets in your region.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of B2B experience, with at least 2 years as a People Manager of customer-facing teams such as Customer Success, Implementation, or Account Management
  • Excellent analytical skills, including experience using Salesforce, dashboards, and performance reporting to make data-driven decisions and ultimately improve team performance.
  • Experience with sales techniques and objection handling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Proven track record of operational and sales excellence, developing strategies to expand accounts and implementing them effectively
  • Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment, navigate ambiguity, and bring a strong sense of ownership
  • Excellent organisation, project management, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading implementation, onboarding, or existing customer growth for Enterprise or Mid-Market customers, preferably in a high-growth, multi-stakeholder B2B environment.
  • Strong track record of partnering with Sales / Account Executives to manage handoffs, align launch expectations, and drive customer adoption
