Key responsibilities
- Support the Haleon management reporting strategy, including the Group Management Reporting system through partnership with finance teams at all levels.
- Support the delivery of the monthly, quarterly, and yearly management reporting.
- Complex analysis of financial data to identify trends.
- Liaise with various stakeholders across the company particularly finance teams at all levels within finance shared services teams, corporate teams and the Commercial operating units to support delivery of management reporting.
- Support the delivery of various month end activities, requiring strong analytical skills, flexibility, and the ability to interrogate data from multiple systems to meet reporting deadlines. Work with multiple teams to ensure accuracy and robustness of data.
- Support the delivery of analysis and messaging for external quarterly / annual reporting.
- Support the development of wider Haleon process improvement initiatives, including new tools and BI solutions, to improve analytical capability and efficiency within the Haleon group.
- Ad-hoc reporting, analysis and business partnering as required.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Finance or Business Development)l
- ACCA / CIMA / MBA (Finance) / Similar accounting qualification
- Proven background in financial management and analysis experience, ideally including experience in Consumer Health or FMCG industries
- Expected skills & competencies:
- Advanced excel skills to undertake modelling / analytics of group results, attention to detail & ability to work with large amounts of data
- Ability to generate robust visualisation to describe performance in presentations
- Strong communications skills - verbal and written
- Strong understanding of key financial statements, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build & maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders within a matrix structure (across the group controlling team and with the regions).
- Self-starter and able to balance conflicting priorities.
- Creative thinking to drive changes and process improvements
- Ability to work in a matrix and multi-cultural environment
- Excellent business acumen, analytical, and financial skills, ability to see the big picture
- Eager to learn and go beyond
