Key Responsibilities

As a Major Account Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our membership relationships. From face-to-face connections to innovative problem-solving, your role will be all about putting our members first. You will manage a portfolio of key accounts, working closely with Logistics UK’s diverse departments to ensure our members feel supported and valued.

  • Grow Membership & Revenue: Drive new memberships, upsell, cross-sell, and secure renewals.
  • Manage Key Accounts: Retain and expand a portfolio of members, ensuring long-term relationships.
  • Identify Opportunities: Generate leads, support contract transitions, and enhance engagement.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage contracts, renewals, and resolve invoice queries efficiently.
  • Track Performance: Maintain CRM records, present performance updates, and support marketing initiatives.
  • Industry Representation: Attend events, share best practices, and uphold Logistics UK’s reputation.

Requirements
  • A Passion for Sales: Enthusiastic and confident with a results‑driven mindset.
  • Customer‑Focused Approach: Proactive and positive, ensuring excellent service delivery.
  • Industry Insight: Experience in transport and logistics (desirable but not essential).
  • Proven Sales Expertise: Strong background in B2B sales with pipeline management experience.
  • Persuasive Communicator: Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills at all levels.
  • Presentation Skills: Ability to craft and deliver impactful sales pitches.
  • Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Technical Proficiency: Confident using computer systems and CRM platforms, with the ability to manage data accurately and efficiently.
