Job Purpose:


Drive pricing strategy and margin optimization across Lubricants (B2C & B2B)

Strengthen Price Lifecycle Management (PLM) capabilities

 Support data-driven decision making to protect profitability and competitiveness

1. Market & Pricing Insights

  • Analyze market, competitors, and price positioning
  • Track COGS impact and margin drivers
  • Build pricing benchmarks and performance dashboards
  • Monitor volume, margin, and profitability by SKU/channel

2. Pricing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and drive price increase (PI) actions
  • Ensure margin recovery and pricing discipline
  • Set sell-out pricing guidelines by channel
  • Align pricing with market dynamics and competitiveness

3. PLM (Price Lifecycle Management)

  • Manage pricing tools, models, and governance
  • Ensure data accuracy and pricing consistency
  • Run pricing simulations and scenario analysis
  • Support pricing reviews and decision forums

4. Planning & Performance Monitoring

  • Support forecasting (IBP) with pricing inputs
  • Track performance vs plan (price, volume, margin)
  • Report margin evolution and risks
  • Drive gap analysis and corrective actions

5. Cross-functional Coordination

  • Partner with Finance, Sales, Supply and Marketing
  • Ensure alignment between pricing strategy and execution

Provide insights to support business decision

Key Challenges:

Managing price sensitivity in a competitive market

Balancing volume growth vs. margin protection

Handling volatile cost environment (base oil fluctuations)

Driving discipline in pricing governance across teams

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Pricing and P&L management understanding
  • Market insight and trend analysis with actionable recommendations
  • Ability to influence stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

Preferred

Certifications in Data Analytics, Pricing, or Financial Modelling.
