We are seeking a skilled Localization Program Manager to lead and drive localization efforts at Flo. In this role, you’ll collaborate with key teams such as Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Analytics to integrate localization into the product development cycle and ensure timely, high-quality releases across multiple languages. You will build and maintain a localization roadmap, identify process improvements, and develop KPIs to measure success. Experience in online localization, stakeholder management, and process optimization is key. The ideal candidate will be proactive, analytical, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.

Your Experience

Must have:

  • Substantial localization experience in the online space and with building scalable solutions and processes from scratch;
  • Experience in revamping processes and workflows that allow for continuous localization and ongoing improvement in agile environments;
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and conflict-solving skills;
  • Proactive attitude and a sense of urgency;
  • Solution-driven thinking, acknowledges own mistakes and learns from them;
  • Ability to pivot from low-level detail to high-level view during both strategy, execution and problem-solving;
  • Strong analytical skills and high ability to interpret data;
  • Proficient knowledge and use of Jira, Figma, and Miro;
  • Must be able to work collaboratively and across cultures;
  • Exceptional organizational skills;
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in marketing localization, including lifecycle monetisation, product marketing, user acquisition, and SEO;
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and contractors.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for:

  • Lead a successful localization program by working cross-functionally with key stakeholders in the Marketing, Design, Product, Content, Growth, Engineering and Analytics teams, ensuring that localization planning is an integral part of the product development cycle;
  • Build and maintain a localization roadmap that reflects dependencies on cross-functional collaboration and ensures timely release of localization of key features and initiatives across Flo languages;
  • Partner with Localization team members and external resources focused on translation delivery and language quality management to deliver an efficient localization program aligned with business goals;
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements focused on scale and internationalization best practice in collaboration with Internationalization team and Operational hubs;
  • Develop success metrics and KPIs to measure program effectiveness;
  • Collaborate with Analytics to identify and develop key metrics and KPIs to measure the impact of localization, as well as report and present regularly to key stakeholders on results that are relevant to their part of the business;
  • Advocate for Localization to be part of all Product-defining decisions and drive awareness on localization best practices across the business.

Salary Range - per year

£73,000£88,000 GBP

Ranges may vary depending on your skills, competencies and experience.
