Work at the center of an active fixed income marketplace, where client conversations and market moves happen in real time. You will help translate rates and credit dynamics into clear client messaging and actionable trade ideas. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented role with exposure to sales, trading, research, and banking partners. You will build strong market instincts, execution discipline, and a risk-aware approach from day one.

As an Analyst/Associate in Fixed Income Sales, you will support coverage of Korean institutional and corporate clients by delivering timely market updates, contributing trade ideas across rates and credit, and coordinating day-to-day execution activity with trading partners. You will help maintain strong client service through accurate follow-through, thoughtful prioritization, and disciplined controls. You will collaborate closely with partners across sales, trading, research, and banking to help clients navigate volatility, liquidity conditions, and regulatory expectations.

Job responsibilities

  • Support client coverage activities across Korean institutional and corporate accounts, including meeting preparation and follow-up
  • Produce client-ready market commentary and trade idea summaries across rates and credit products
  • Coordinate execution logistics with trading partners, including confirming client intent, pricing context, and execution expectations
  • Track client activity and flows to help prioritize outreach and improve coverage discipline
  • Partner with research and strategy teams to translate macro, rates, and credit views into client-relevant themes
  • Help identify cross-product opportunities by coordinating with banking coverage teams and product specialists
  • Maintain accurate client records and communications in line with supervision and documentation standards
  • Assist with client onboarding and lifecycle processes by partnering with know-your-customer, credit, and onboarding teams
  • Follow policies related to market conduct, suitability, conflicts management, and information barriers
  • Escalate issues, incidents, or emerging risks in a timely manner through appropriate channels
  • Contribute to a high-performance team culture focused on client outcomes, accountability, and risk management

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience in fixed income markets, sales, trading, client coverage, or a closely related financial markets role
  • Working knowledge of rates and/or credit products and how clients use them (cash and/or derivatives)
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret market moves, relative value, and client positioning
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in Korean and English, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate work under time pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize across multiple tasks, clients, and deadlines
  • Collaborative approach and ability to coordinate effectively with trading, research, banking, and control partners
  • Sound risk and controls mindset, including comfort operating in a supervised and well-governed environment
  • Confidence preparing client materials and supporting client dialogues with clear, structured messaging

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Prior experience supporting coverage of Korean asset managers, insurers, pension funds, banks, and/or large corporates
  • Familiarity with hedging and derivatives workflows linked to rates and credit risk management
  • Experience with electronic execution workflows and data-driven client targeting approaches
  • Exposure to structured or tailored solutions developed in partnership with product specialists and trading
  • Relevant professional qualifications that support regulated markets activity in Korea
