Job Description

Lift Engineer Jobs in Didcot at Stannah - Join Our Team!

Stannah | Full-Time | Permanent

Salary Up to £56,000  (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

Working 🕒 Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish)

We’re looking for a Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Didcot and surrounding areas.

You’ll be looking after your own patch — servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch:

  • Covering Didcot and nearby areas
  • Structured route (no random national travel)
  • Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
  • Mostly staying within your allocated area

Lift Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
  • Attending breakdowns and callouts
  • Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
  • Keeping sites safe and compliant
  • Completing site logs and basic paperwork

Qualifications

Lift Engineer Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair)
  • Full UK driving licence
