Your role as an Administrator will be to support the Apprenticeship Team at HMS Collingwood.
Joining a high-profile, purpose-driven programme supporting over 7,000 Royal Navy apprentices across the UK. You’ll play a key role in providing effective administrative and coordination support to the team, ensuring information, communications, meetings, actions and records are maintained accurately and within agreed timescales.

⚠️ Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC level).


You’ll complete your Level 3 Business Administration qualification over 13-months and will be equipped with real on-the-job learning and experience, finding out how our business works to grow your professional knowledge, all while earning a salary and working towards a recognised professional qualification. After a full induction and initial training programme, you will join our team full-time, with time set aside so you can continue working towards your professional qualification.


What will you be doing?

As an apprentice, you’ll learn on the job while being fully supported by an experienced team and mentors.


You'll be at the heart of a busy team, helping to keep apprenticeship programmes running smoothly for Royal Navy personnel. You'll gain hands-on experience coordinating meetings, managing communications, maintaining accurate records and tracking key activities and actions. Working with a variety of colleagues and stakeholders, you'll develop valuable administrative, organisational and communication skills while supporting projects that make a real difference. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn a recognised qualification, build your confidence and gain practical workplace experience in a supportive and professional environment.

💰 Salary:  £25,155 per year

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To meet apprenticeship funding and role requirements, you’ll need to confirm:

  • You are 18 or over at the start of the apprenticeship
  • You are not in full‑time education when the apprenticeship begins
  • You do not already hold a qualification in a related subject at the same level or above
  • You can provide proof of residence in England for the duration of the apprenticeship
