Lead a 3-6 month project to design and scale Omnea's legal operations: own contracting workflows, implement and manage legal tech (CLM, e-signature, AI), create templates and playbooks, track KPIs and spend, manage external counsel, and partner cross-functionally to streamline approval processes and support infosec certifications.

Our Mission:

Omnea is the agentic operating system for procurement.

Procurement touches every pound a business spends, yet requests still stall for weeks and approvals get lost in inboxes. Our AI-first platform changes that: our agents capture requests, route approvals, onboard suppliers, flag risk and track every renewal, while anyone in the business can ask a question and get an answer grounded in their own company’s data. Buying becomes painless for everyone, procurement gets a seat at the table, and our customers have saved more than 100,000 hours of manual work so far.

Companies like Spotify, PayPal, T. Rowe Price, JustEat, Adyen and S&P Global run procurement on Omnea. We’re backed by $75M from Khosla Ventures, Insight Partners and Accel, and we’ve been named the UK’s number one startup in the Startups 100, ranked 11th on Sifted’s 2026 list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies, and recognised as one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies.

Talent density matters more to us than almost anything else. We keep the bar high in every team, so everyone here has real ownership and real impact. Our team is full of former founders and operators who’ve scaled unicorns, and we’re looking for people who want to do the best work of their careers alongside them.

Overview

We're looking for a talented Legal Operations Manager to run a 3-6m project for us and build out the systems, processes and tooling that will let Omnea's Legal function scale at pace as we grow across multiple markets!

Reporting to our Head of Legal for the duration of the contract, you'll own how Legal runs day to day from contracting workflows and legal tech, to intake and triage, templates and playbooks, reporting, and external counsel management. You'll partner closely with Go To Market, Finance, Security and Procurement to make legal a genuine accelerator for the business. This is a rare chance to design a modern, AI-native legal operations function from the ground up.

NB. We're either hiring this role in the UK or the US, so whilst we have an advert open for each location, we have one open headcount.

What you can expect

You'll do whatever it takes to help Omnea operate at pace. You'll:

  • Own and continuously improve our contracting workflows end-to-end, from intake and triage through to signature and storage

  • Build, maintain and roll out templates, playbooks and self-serve legal resources so the business can move quickly and safely

  • Own and optimise our legal tech stack evaluating, implementing and managing tools such as contract lifecycle management (CLM), e-signature, entity management and AI

  • Track, measure and report on legal KPIs, matter volumes, cycle times and external legal spend

  • Manage relationships with external counsel and vendors, including budgeting, engagement and performance

  • Support on knowledge management and internal policy administration

  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Security and Procurement to streamline deal-desk and approval processes, and help support our infosec certifications

About you

We're looking for someone commercial, systems-minded and energised by building:

  • You have experience in legal operations, ideally at a high-growth SaaS or technology company.

  • You don't need to be a qualified lawyer but you understand how legal teams work and what they need to operate effectively at scale

  • You're an excellent project manager and process designer with a genuine systems mindset. You have a strong bias for automation but also the creativity to imagine novel solutions that others might miss

  • You can map workflows, identify bottlenecks, and redesign processes to drive efficiency.

  • You're hands-on with legal technology across the stackCLM platforms, e-signature tools, contract automation, AI-powered legal tools, workflow systems.

  • You're data-driven and can turn metrics and insights into better decisions.

  • You have a commercial mindset and understand how legal operations directly impact business outcomes, faster deal cycles, reduced risk, better stakeholder experience.

  • You thrive at pace and in ambiguity. You can manage competing priorities, shifting roadmaps, and incomplete information without losing sight of what matters most

  • You're happy to get hands-on and into the detail of whatever needs doing, whether that's building workflows, troubleshooting a CLM integration, training the team, or rolling up your sleeves on contract admin

  • You're an outstanding communicator in both writing and in person. You can translate between legal, technical, and business stakeholders and make complex operational concepts accessible

At Omnea, we embrace diversity. To build a product that's loved by everyone, we're best served by a team with all sorts of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't quite match the full job spec! And regardless of your race, religion, colour, gender, or anything else! If you think you could be a good fit for Omnea, please reach out.

A few things to note:
  • We offer competitive geo-localised benefits, and you can check out our UK Benefits Package here and our US Benefits Package here.

  • We work Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays in-person at our offices. At this early stage of our company life-cycle it's important to us that we get this together-time, and you can read more about why we believe this is a winning move here

  • We're commercial, ambitious and we don't pretend otherwise! We're actively seeking folks looking to make the most of a career-defining opportunity, with the hunger to be part of building something really impressive. You can see our values here and our Omnea Future Founder's fund here!

  • We sometimes use AI note-takers to help us transcribe interview notes, so we can be more present in your interview. If you'd like to opt out of us using automatic transcribers, please note this in the free text field in your application, otherwise we'll take your application as confirmation that you're happy for us to use notetakers (whether added to video calls or in the background).

We are proud to be recognised for both our culture and product, and we are just getting started. Join us as we grow!

Boasting one of the most recognized fintech ecosystems in Europe, attracting billions in investments each year, London's success has made it a go-to destination for startups looking to make their mark. Top U.K. companies like Hoptin, Moneybox and Marshmallow have already made the city their base — yet fintech is just the beginning. From healthtech to renewable energy to cybersecurity and beyond, the city's startups are breaking new ground across a range of industries.
