The opportunity.
Quantexa is looking for a dynamic and commercially minded lawyer to join our high-performing Legal team as a trusted partner to the General Counsel. This role supports a wide range of legal matters across our fast-growing, international business and offers real exposure to strategic decision-making.
Our Legal team is driven to deliver world-class support and practical, innovative solutions that enable our business leaders to focus on creating meaningful impact for our clients, colleagues, and long-term strategy. We are hands-on, outcome-focused, and accountable for delivering to a high standard.
You’ll bring strong communication skills, both written and verbal, alongside sharp attention to detail and a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset. Curious, agile, and commercially aware, you’ll be comfortable navigating complexity and turning legal insight into clear, actionable advice.
The role has a primary focus on EMEA legal matters and business growth, while also offering the opportunity to gain broad international experience across a rapidly scaling organisation. You’ll work closely with, and report directly to, Quantexa’s General Counsel.
What you’ll be doing.
- Partnering with stakeholders across multiple functions to support the Legal team’s objectives and Quantexa’s wider ambitions.
- Building trusted relationships with colleagues, customers, and business leaders across the organisation.
- Acting as a key legal lead for EMEA matters, based from our London HQ, while contributing to global and central legal initiatives.
- Providing clear, commercially grounded advice on strategic risks, mitigations, and improved ways of working.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, including software licences, reseller agreements, professional services and outsourcing contracts, hosting arrangements, and collaboration agreements.
- Assessing and mitigating compliance and reputational risks, including anti-bribery and corruption matters.
- Supporting company secretarial, corporate governance, and wider corporate compliance activities.
- Advising on data privacy risks and supporting the implementation of company-wide legal initiatives.
- Working closely with leading external counsel across multiple jurisdictions and building strong international partnerships.
Requirements
What you’ll bring.
- Qualified lawyer with at least 3 years’ post‑qualification experience, either in-house or in private practice.
- Strong commercial judgement, with the ability to identify and communicate legal risks clearly and propose pragmatic, business-focused mitigation strategies.
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts in an international context.
- Proven ability to support and manage third-party engagements and partnerships, providing clear legal advice that enables business outcomes.
- Customer-focused, taking pride in providing responsive, high-quality legal support that makes it easier for teams to operate confidently.
- Ideally, experience with corporate governance matters and/or exposure to regulated environments such as financial services, government, or public sector contexts.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, scaling business, managing competing priorities with minimal supervision.
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions, with the ability to navigate differing legal frameworks and cultural environments.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to distil complex legal issues into clear, actionable summaries for stakeholders.
