Job Summary:  

The Learning and Development Trainer delivers highly interactive, engaging, and scalable learning initiatives that yield significant impact. They utilize adult learning principles, facilitation skills, and Clearwater expertise to assist with creation, curate, and lead learning solutions focused on enhancing performance and productivity. Individuals in these roles possess a deep understanding of our dataflow process, our culture, and our organizational structure. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Engages with other HR team members, managers, and senior managers to proactively address business challenges through training. 

  • Delivers on creative, scalable learning solutions with speed and agility, proactively evaluating the impact and effectiveness of the implemented solutions. 

  • Utilizes effective readiness, deployment, assessment, and reinforcement strategies for the learning experiences they execute. 

  • Proficiently employs a variety of delivery methods, including instructor-led courses, virtual, web-based, or other learning solutions. 

  • Executes the Talent Enablement team’s training onboarding and other program needs. 

  • Applies functional or content expertise to create/curate and facilitate learning experiences for limited audiences. 

  • Develops surveys, analyses findings, and reports on them for learning experiences produced. Integrates feedback into future solutions by modifying trainings, creating actionable plans, and solutions to mitigate negative learning experiences. 

  • Employs expertise and understanding of two or more functional areas to passionately deliver employee experiences that change behaviors and drive productivity. 

  • Designs and implements readiness and reinforcement communications and manages implementation for created learning solutions (as required). 

  • Solicits clear direction, ongoing guidance, and feedback on assigned project work. Incorporates feedback quickly and adjusts as needed. 

  • Provides subject matter expertise for assigned technologies, job-specific training, and conducts train-the-trainer sessions as required. 

  • Manages tracking and follow-up communications for onboarding and other Learning and Development-led training initiatives (as required). 

  • Provides in-person and virtual continued onboarding support for new hires. 

  • Assists with learning path development and communications across multiple job roles as required. 

  • Helps to identify recommendations and solutions for training content. 

  • Applies learning principles and theories to deliver effective learning experiences for broad audiences. 

Required Skills:  

  • Ability to deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to individuals or groups. 

  • Ability to provide guidance and support to individuals or teams to help them develop their skills and reach their full potential. 

  • Proficiency in using various e-learning tools and software to develop and deliver training programs.  

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.  

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.  

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.  

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. 

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities. 

  

Education and Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or a related field from a reputed college. 

  • 4+ years of experience.
