About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Learning & Development Specialist who can help realise the potential of our people.  

Reporting to the Head of Leadership and Functional Development, you will work collaboratively to ensure L&D continues to contribute to improved performance in Sales, Marketing & Innovation (SMI).

You will work closely with subject matter experts in SMI and third-party training partners to design, produce and manage learning content, whilst evaluating the effectiveness and return on investment. You will manage training support and all related administrative processes including budget management and follow up with Finance team; coordinate and monitor SMI learning programmes, develop when required any supporting materials and communications, deploy and maintain learning tools and provide assessment reports on all L&D activities to evaluate the effectiveness and return on investment. 

Your goal is to ensure that the SMI Talent Team’s programmes are perfectly organised and delivered smoothly across SMI Packaging Division. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, create and deploy fit for purpose learning initiatives using blended learning methodology, working closely with SME’s and digital tools to create flexible and innovative learning solutions across SMI that follow 70-20-10 methodology

  •  Work closely with SME’s on design of content and use their expertise to turn content into effective learning experiences including designing and producing eLearning modules using authoring software or other digital solutions

  • Ensure that learning solutions are translated to a high quality in close collaboration with sub-regional Talent Leads

  • Learning Experience Platform: Support with the setup of channels, upload eLearning materials and support when required the assigning of modules to audiences when necessary. Write relevant communications & issue, follow up and report on activity and completion rates

  • Provide administrative and logistical support before, during and after assess training programs conducted by the SMI Talent Team 

  • Schedule sessions, trainings and maintain the key development requirements by working closely with the Regional Talent Leads/Country L&D leads and SMI leads to ensure planning is linked to business plans and priorities

  • Maintain training records such as trainee lists, schedules, attendance sheets, feedback forms, compile post-training surveys, draw statistics and report on request.

About You

  • Qualified to Degree level, or equivalent experience in L&D

  • Experience in creating and implementing e-learnings using Articulate 360 is a must

  • Experience of assessing capability and critical gaps on an individual and organisational basis

  • Competent in 70/20/10 methodology

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload versus deadlines

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Experience of working in a large and or matrix organisation 

  • Excellent command of English, and other European languages are a plus

  • Able to confidently engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation by being credible and persuasive 

  • Flexible, reliable, resilient and tenacious.
