This role reports to Matthew Hooper This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable, high-performance web applications using React.js and modern frontend technologies.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code review guidance to frontend development teams.
Drive frontend architecture and design decisions focused on scalability, performance, maintainability, accessibility, and security.
Collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI designers, Backend Engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software through engineering best practices, coding standards, and automated testing.
Optimize application performance, improve user experience, and implement responsive, cross-browser compatible solutions.
Work closely with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs and microservices based architectures.
Support cloud-native deployments and frontend hosting solutions within AWS and/or GCP environments
Apply strong Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) knowledge to solve complex technical challenges and improve application efficiency.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
• 10+ years of experience in frontend/web application development, including 2+ years in a technical leadership or Lead Developer role.
• Strong experience in frontend architecture, system design, and modern JavaScript application development.
• Proven experience building enterprise-scale applications using React.js and related frontend ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and leading cross functional development teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or Redux Toolkit.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and working with modern frontend architecture patterns.
• Working knowledge of AWS (Amazon Web Services) and/or GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
• Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).
