Meet the team behind this journey

Over 200,000 businesses run on DeepL, and their stories are the most persuasive asset we have. This role puts them front and centre across brand, demand and growth. Buyers evaluating Language AI trust other buyers. We're building the proof that puts customer stories in front of them at scale.

You'll sit in Product Marketing, report to the VP, and work at pace with Field, Brand, Digital, Comms and PR.

Your responsibilities
  • Amplify our customers’ success: Surface the stories our customers are already telling within support tickets, sales nominations, deal wins and win-loss interviews, and choose the few that deserve to become full stories. Ship marquee stories (blue-chip, video, event-ready), named case studies and quantified proof points that show DeepL's AI doing real work in real businesses.

  • Put our customers on the world stage: Press interviews, webinars, keynotes and our Customer Advisory Board advocacy track. You recommend who speaks, agree the narrative with them in advance, and make each appearance count beyond the day itself..

  • Put a real customer in front of every buyer: Sales and Customer Success come to you when a deal needs a reference. You'll know which customers will speak, what they'll speak about, and how recently each was asked. Sales enablement builds the seller tools - you supply the customers and the proof that goes inside them.

  • Share stories while they still matter: Stories work hardest published alongside a launch, event or campaign they belong to. You own the run from interview to live asset, including the legal and brand engagement, and keep customer permissions current so nothing sits waiting.

Measures of success (first 12 months)
  • New marquee stories the field, brand and events teams all pull from.

  • Named case studies covering every region, product lines and priority verticals

  • Reference requests resolved within the agreed turnaround time

  • Stories publishing in the same window as the launch or event they belong to

  • Clear evidence that deals using a customer reference close at a better rate

Qualities we look for
  • Proven success in B2B marketing, over many years: customer marketing, content, comms or advocacy, with a track record of stories that engaged buyers and moved deals

  • Bias for action: you're a self-starter who clears your own hurdles. You do not wait for a brief

  • Automate before you escalate: when a step is slow, your instinct is to build a way round it. AI is already in your workflow, not on your list of things to try.

  • Storytelling: genuine curiosity about a customer's business problem, and the instinct to find the narrative inside it

  • Customer-facing polish: comfortable with customers from first discovery call through to launch

  • Strategic judgement: you can map advocacy output to our priorities and back the stories that serve them

  • Operational rigour: you have built the production, approvals and permissions process - and made it fast

What we offer
  • Diverse and internationally distributed team: joining our team means becoming part of a large, global community with people of more than 90 nationalities. We're more than just colleagues; we're a group of professionals with a shared mission to connect diverse cultures. Our global presence is growing–we've doubled in size nearly every year, with our employees based in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, the US, and Japan, and we continue to expand our network.

  • Open communication, regular feedback: as a language-focused company, we value the importance of clear, honest communication. We value smooth collaboration, direct and actionable feedback, and believe that leading with empathy and growth mindset makes us better together.

  • Hybrid work, flexible hours: we offer a hybrid work schedule, with team members coming into the office twice a week. This allows you to engage directly with your team and experience the unique energy of our workspace, while still enjoying the flexibility and comfort of working from home. With flexible working hours and trust in your productivity, we are in sync with your team’s general locations and time zones to foster effective and seamless collaboration.

  • Virtual Shares - An ownership mindset in every role. We believe everyone should share in our success, and that’s why every employee receives Virtual Shares, linking your contribution directly to DeepL’s growth and rewarding you with a stake in our future.

  • Regular in-person team events: we bond over vibrant events that are as unique as our team, from local team and business unit gatherings, to new-joiner onboardings, to company-wide events that bring us all together–literally.

  • Monthly full-day hacking sessions: every month, we have Hack Fridays, where you can spend your time diving into a project you're passionate about and get the opportunity to work with other teams–we value your initiatives, impact, and creativity.

  • 30 days of annual leave: we value your peace of mind. With 30 days off (excluding public holidays) and access to mental health resources, we make sure you're as strong mentally as you are professionally.

  • Competitive benefits: just as our team spans the globe, so does our benefits package. We've crafted it to reflect the diversity of our team and tailored it to align with your unique location, to ensure you feel supported every step of the way.

If this role and our mission resonate with you, but you're hesitant because you don't check all the boxes, don't let that hold you back. At DeepL, it's all about the value you bring and the growth we can foster together. Go ahead, apply—let's discover your potential together. We can't wait to meet you!
