We’re more than a global leader in AI-powered client lifecycle management—we’re reimagining how financial institutions tackle compliance. From Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) to rapidly evolving regulations, we turn complexity into clarity. Our FinCrime Operating System, powered by agentic AI and intelligent automation, helps financial institutions move faster, act smarter, and stay safer across 120+ countries.

But we don’t stop there.

At Fenergo, we believe in a world where financial institutions aren’t just compliant—they’re confident. Where technology doesn’t just meet regulations—it stays ahead of them. Our mission is to empower financial institutions to stop financial crime and create a safer world.

Every product we build, every innovation we deliver, and every partnership we forge is shaped by that belief. We’re tackling some of the toughest challenges in financial technology. From speeding up onboarding to uncovering hidden risks, our work empowers banks to serve their customers with speed, integrity, and peace of mind.

Join us, and be part of a team that’s building smart solutions, solving real problems, and shaping the future—together.

About the role

You will own the solution on our largest EMEA financial crime pursuits. That means running discovery with Financial Crime Compliance, Operations and Technology leaders, designing target-state solutions, and showing how monitoring, investigation and client risk work together on one platform. You will also build TM capability across the team, so every consultant can lead a credible first conversation.

Why join us

You will be shaping a growing product, not selling a finished one. What you know about running TM in the real world goes straight to Product, and you will be the recognised financial crime expert in our EMEA presales team.

What you will do

Own the deal solution

  • Own the solution on our largest EMEA financial crime pursuits, from first discovery to contract, and make the call on scope, approach and proof-of-value design.
  • Lead RFP and RFI responses and proof-of-value engagements, with success criteria agreed with the client up front.
  • Run discovery that quantifies the client's problem, such as alert volumes, false positive rates and investigation effort, and turn it into a clear value case.
  • Design target-state solutions covering TM rules and scenarios, alert investigation workflows, transaction data integration and the link between client risk and monitoring outcomes.
  • Use your first-hand knowledge of TM platforms to position Fenergo credibly against the incumbents you have worked with or competed against.

Make it real for the client

  • Run scenario-led demonstrations built on realistic typologies and investigation journeys, for audiences from investigators to the C-suite.
  • Translate AML/CFT regulation and supervisory expectations into a clear case for change.

Build the team's TM capability

  • Coach Client Solutions Consultants so they can run TM discovery and demonstrations without you in the room.
  • Feed what you hear in the market directly into Product: capability gaps, competitor moves and roadmap priorities.

What success looks like in your first year

  • Transaction Monitoring is positioned in most EMEA pursuits, with you leading the solution on 50% of them.
  • 5 proof-of-value engagements delivered against success criteria agreed with the client.
  • Every EMEA consultant can run a first TM discovery and demonstration independently.
  • A reusable TM demonstration and solution kit is in use across the region.

Requirements

What you will bring

Essential

  • Hands-on Transaction Monitoring experience where you owned outcomes, not just supported them: for example designing scenarios and typologies, defending tuning and model governance decisions, or leading a TM platform implementation.
  • A background in presales (5+ years), solution consulting or business consulting, with substantial experience in financial crime compliance.
  • Strong working knowledge of KYC, CDD and EDD, AML/CFT regulation and the ongoing monitoring lifecycle.
  • A track record in complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles with Tier 1 or Tier 2 financial institutions.
  • Enough architectural depth to hold your own with a bank's technology team: APIs, batch and event-driven integration, data models and SaaS deployment.
  • The presence to lead a room of senior compliance and technology leaders, and the writing to back it up.
  • Experience coaching or leading peers. Formal line management is not required.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of regulatory regimes across EMEA and beyond, such as the FCA and UK Money Laundering Regulations, the Central Bank of Ireland, the EU AML package and AMLA, FinCEN/OCC and MAS.
  • Experience in adjacent areas such as sanctions screening, fraud or payments monitoring, or financial crime risk assessment.
  • Exposure to data analytics, machine learning or AI in a financial crime context.
  • A relevant professional certification such as CAMS or an ICA qualification.

Benefits
