At DP World, we're looking for an experienced Launch Operations Lead to lead the successful delivery of new customer contract logistics implementations, business expansions and large-scale operational transformations across Europe.
This is a high-profile leadership role where you'll oversee complex, multi-site launches from concept through to go-live and operational stabilisation. Working with customers and cross-functional teams, you'll ensure every implementation is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest operational standards.
About the role:
Lead end-to-end operational launches for new customer implementations and business transformations.
Manage operational readiness across every project phase, from design and build through to deployment, stabilisation and BAU handover.
Lead and develop a team of Launch Leads and Operations Launch Specialists.
Partner with customers, Operations, IT, Engineering and Commercial teams to deliver seamless implementations.
Drive process design, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Lead systems implementation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and operational go-live readiness.
Support warehouse automation and technology deployments, including FAT, SAT and commissioning activities.
Manage implementation risks, budgets, performance and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Your Key Skills
Proven operational leader with experience delivering complex logistics implementations and leading high-performing teams
Extensive leadership experience within contract logistics, warehousing, manufacturing or supply chain operations.
Successful track record delivering large-scale operational launches, start-ups or transformation programmes.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, WMS, automation and supply chain processes.
Experience managing cross-functional projects and engaging senior customer stakeholders.
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to thrive in fast-paced, customer-focused environments while balancing multiple priorities.
