Lead development and launch of value-added port and supply-chain products across UK terminals. Identify market opportunities, build business cases, manage cross-functional delivery, oversee budgets, P&L, contracts, pricing and marketing, and maintain strong customer relationships to grow revenue and operational capability.

Lead and manage Operational Excellence functions (WMS, CI, BPI, BI, HSEQ, Security, PMO); own OE budgets; support commercial teams and contract launches; drive change management, KPI-based performance improvements, Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement, BI tooling, WMS adoption, and profitability initiatives while ensuring HSEQ and security compliance.

Manage processing and prioritization of customer orders in SAP, coordinate packing and material allocation, monitor order flow and capacity, identify and resolve operational issues, and liaise with sales, warehouse, and packing teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Manage procurement activities for EU legal entities: convert purchase requests to orders, onboard and maintain suppliers, reconcile invoices with POs, maintain contracts and records, support procurement systems (SAP/Oracle), collaborate with finance, generate reports, and drive process improvements while training new team members.

Lead delivery, performance and continuous improvement of operational systems (TOS, applications, integrations, databases). Manage a multidisciplinary IT Systems team, oversee enhancements, testing, commissioning, change management, and deliver business-critical IT projects. Build stakeholder and vendor relationships and support UK-wide standardisation between sites.

Oversee MHE operations, ensure compliance with safety standards, supervise MHE drivers, manage training, conduct safety inspections, and lead safety investigations.

Serve as primary customer contact for account management, build relationships across purchasing/technical/logistics, support pricing and quotations, track account KPIs and forecasts, raise and manage change requests, support Senior Account Manager and present commercial topics, and identify growth opportunities while ensuring timely delivery and contract compliance.

Design, develop, and deliver scalable, secure software for port and terminal operations. Collaborate with stakeholders, apply DevOps/CI/CD and containerization, maintain high code quality, troubleshoot live systems, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members while recommending technical improvements.

Prepare monthly financial and business reports, analyze performance and variances, present MBRs, monitor operational KPIs, support budgeting/forecasting, assist year-end statutory reporting, and deliver ad hoc financial analysis to support operations and drive improvements.

The Financial Business Controller will assist with financial reporting, budget preparation, KPI analysis, and stakeholder collaboration to enhance operational performance.

Operate mooring and linkspan equipment, safely berth and unmoor vessels, marshal vehicle and passenger traffic, and maintain clear communications with vessel crews and terminal control to ensure safe, efficient port operations.

Operate as a Port Operative/Stevedore supporting safe, efficient RoRo cargo discharge and loading. Secure and lash cargo, assist mooring, operate port equipment, carry out checks, report defects, maintain health & safety and security standards, and deliver high customer service while working shift patterns outdoors.

Support port and ship teams to load, discharge, secure and moor RoRo vessels safely and efficiently. Operate port equipment, follow health and safety procedures, deliver high customer service, and work fixed shifts outdoors to ensure vessels depart on time.
