Provides first- and second-line IT support for end-user devices, business applications, networks, servers, and site infrastructure. Diagnoses and resolves technical issues, manages service desk alerts and escalations, maintains documentation and IT asset records, and supports infrastructure projects such as site launches and network refreshes. The role also involves incident and change management, vendor collaboration, on-call support, and travel across UK and European sites.

Provide legal and transaction support to UK and European logistics operations, including commercial contracts, RFPs, procurement, property, construction, employment, privacy, and regulatory matters. Advise on expansion, entity structuring, restructurings, compliance policies, GDPR, TUPE, and works councils. Partner with business leaders and regional legal teams, manage external counsel relationships, and support operations primarily under English law.

Lead commercial growth across DP World’s UK ports and terminals, including London Gateway and Southampton. Develop three- to five-year growth strategies, expand existing accounts, identify revenue streams, and create investment business plans. Drive enterprise-wide value across shipping, logistics, multimodal, and port-related businesses. Build commercial analysis, forecasting, scenario modeling, and risk-monitoring capabilities while contributing to UK leadership decisions and revenue, profitability, and commercial transformation.

Coordinate transportation and logistics operations by assigning carriers, planning routes, scheduling vehicles, tracking shipments, confirming pickups, consolidating loads, managing recoveries, and monitoring carrier performance. Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams to prioritize shipments, communicate cost-effective options, and achieve on-time pickup and delivery targets.

Lead delivery, performance and continuous improvement of operational systems (TOS, applications, integrations, databases). Manage a multidisciplinary IT Systems team, oversee enhancements, testing, commissioning, change management, and deliver business-critical IT projects. Build stakeholder and vendor relationships and support UK-wide standardisation between sites.

Lead quality improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations, using root-cause analysis, corrective actions, audits, and statistical analysis to improve first-time-through rates and reduce scrap. Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality concerns. Maintain QMS and IMS processes, including ISO compliance, document control, reverse FMEAs, warranty resolution, and process documentation. Support continuous improvement projects and quality KPIs.

Lead the Minworth plant’s overall operations, including safety, quality, delivery, cost, people, environmental performance, customer relationships, budgeting, and business planning. Build a high-performing management team, drive Lean and continuous-improvement initiatives, maintain ISO 14001-related systems, improve productivity, reduce waste, and support commercial growth and new business opportunities.

Lead and manage Operational Excellence functions (WMS, CI, BPI, BI, HSEQ, Security, PMO); own OE budgets; support commercial teams and contract launches; drive change management, KPI-based performance improvements, Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement, BI tooling, WMS adoption, and profitability initiatives while ensuring HSEQ and security compliance.

Support HR programmes and initiatives, assist end-to-end recruitment, advise on employee relations, coordinate onboarding/offboarding, support performance management, deliver training, produce HR reports, ensure UK employment law compliance, and contribute to wider HR projects to foster engagement and inclusive culture.

Provide financial control and insight for a new Contract Logistics site: develop and monitor KPIs, prepare forecasts and cost-center analyses, support budgeting and investments, identify risks and deviations, build management information systems, and act as a trusted financial business partner to site leadership and stakeholders.

Serve as regional WMS subject-matter expert linking Operations, IT and the Global WMS Centre of Excellence. Drive WMS strategy, design, implementation, testing, configuration and continuous improvement across multi-site warehouse operations. Support legacy replacements, champion standard capabilities over customisations, provide first-line support, training, and stakeholder engagement including Sales and customers.

Lead implementation of site quality strategy and QMS, ensure ISO 9001 and regulatory compliance, investigate non-conformances, monitor KPIs and audits, drive continuous-improvement, train and coach site teams, and act as primary quality contact for customers and auditors to embed consistent quality practices.

Build and operate HR processes for a new site: payroll data submission and support, personnel administration, contract amendments, employee lifecycle and termination processes, benefits administration, onboarding and recruitment support, HR reporting, and day-to-day employee and manager guidance to ensure compliant, efficient site launch and growth.

Lead day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations for an automotive customer, ensuring quality, on-time delivery, safety, and cost performance. Drive process governance, Lean continuous improvement, workforce leadership, performance reporting, customer issue resolution, and transformation projects to achieve operational and environmental objectives.

Serve as primary customer contact for account management, build relationships across purchasing/technical/logistics, support pricing and quotations, track account KPIs and forecasts, raise and manage change requests, support Senior Account Manager and present commercial topics, and identify growth opportunities while ensuring timely delivery and contract compliance.

Prepare monthly financial and business reports, analyze performance and variances, present MBRs, monitor operational KPIs, support budgeting/forecasting, assist year-end statutory reporting, and deliver ad hoc financial analysis to support operations and drive improvements.

Manages a strategic global technology customer account across contract logistics and freight forwarding. Serves as the primary operational contact, coordinates cross-functional delivery, monitors KPIs, supports renewals and new business, and drives onboarding, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Builds stakeholder relationships, identifies upselling and cross-selling opportunities, manages risks, and maintains customer satisfaction. International travel of up to 30% is required.
