Job Title: Laboratory Analyst

Are you looking for a hands-on analytical role where you’ll performing testing and support key process and quality investigations? If so, this Laboratory Analyst position in Laboratories Ware GSC could be a great opportunity to consider.

As an Analyst, you will analyse samples using a range of techniques, prepare and check analytical data in line with company, customer and regulatory expectations, assess results against predefined acceptance criteria, and contribute to process investigations and validation activities, while maintaining high standards of safety, data integrity and laboratory housekeeping.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following.

  • Perform sample analysis using a range of analytical techniques and support technical/process investigations, qualification and validation.

  • Generate, check and document analytical data to company, customer, regulatory and ALCOA+ standards, ensuring right-first-time results and good data integrity.

  • Maintain, calibrate and operate assigned laboratory equipment, ensuring safe, compliant work to EHS and GMP (e.g. COSHH, Risk Assessments, DSE) and high 5S housekeeping standards.

  • Identify and investigate OOS/atypical results using structured problem solving, and contribute to method transfers, new product introductions and continuous improvement.

  • Manage your own workload and development, sharing best practice, supporting and training others where required, and maintaining up-to-date training and performance records.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with the following skills and experience to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline, with strong, demonstrable professional laboratory experience.

  • Experienced user in a wide range of laboratory instruments, software packages and analytical techniques.

  • Experience in operating and troubleshooting HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) equipment.

  • Experience applying Lean Six Sigma principles to improve ways of working.

  • Experience improving laboratory processes and performance, including diagnosing and resolving analytical and equipment issues.

  • Experience applying statistical and mathematical methods for data analysis and interpretation.

  • Experience working with national and international pharmaceutical regulatory authorities and associated requirements.

Work arrangements: This role is fully onsite at Ware, requiring five days per week onsite presence.
