Role overview:
This is not your typical account management role. It’s a high-impact, fast-paced commercial position at the core of Planet’s enterprise growth.
As a Key Account Manager, you’ll take responsibility for some of Planet’s largest global blue chip clients across EMEA, with a special focus on the Nordics. You’ll act as a strategic growth partner—driving revenue, deepening relationships, and transforming how clients leverage payments and tax free solutions as genuine revenue engines.

What you will do
Own and grow strategic enterprise accounts, managing a portfolio of high-value global clients across EMEA.
Drive commercial growth by identifying, shaping, and closing expansion opportunities in payments and tax free solutions.
Help clients turn payments into profit centers, evolving payments and tax free from operational necessities into key drivers of revenue, conversion, and customer experience.
Build deep, trusted relationships by engaging senior stakeholders and becoming a strategic partner to your clients.
Lead account strategy, developing and executing growth plans that align client ambitions with Planet’s commercial capabilities.
Unlock cross-sell opportunities by connecting payment solutions, tax free, and value-added services to maximize client revenue potential.
Navigate complexity confidently, orchestrating internal teams across product, delivery, and support for seamless execution.
Stay ahead of industry trends, bringing insight into payments, retail innovation, and international shopper behavior.
Who you are
Proven success in enterprise sales or key account management, managing large and complex clients.
Strong knowledge of the payments industry, including acquiring, omnichannel payments, FX, or tax free shopping solutions.
A track record of driving commercial growth through payments and value-added services.
Ability to position payments and tax free as strategic revenue drivers—not just cost centers.
Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills, including at executive level.
High energy and resilience; thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Strategic thinker with a strong execution focus.
Experience working across EMEA markets is highly desirable.
Fluency in English and a fluent second language proficiency, especially in Nordics language will be a plus.
