Job Description

we’re seeking an ambitious Web QA Tester to join our team. This outstanding opportunity allows you to work closely with our outstanding web product management, engineering, and QA teams to ensure a flawless digital experience for our customers. By carefully performing tests and collaborating with various departments, you will help us maintain our competitive edge in the industry and provide outstanding quality to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete manual testing of website features and journeys, including functional, UAT, regression, and end-to-end testing, to ensure changes meet business, functional, and quality requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools (e.g., Jira), providing complete and accurate evidence including steps, encouraged vs. actual results, and severity.
  • Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and regression packs to ensure comprehensive and consistent pre-release validation across sprint cycles.
  • Work closely with web product management, engineering, QA, and business analysts to clarify requirements, validate fixes, support UAT, and contribute to release readiness.
  • Conduct cross-browser and mobile testing, investigate behavioral or functional issues, and provide input on opportunities for future automation.
  • Provide structured support to the L1/L2 web support teams. Validate issues, clarify defects, and supply clear test evidence. This enables rapid and accurate resolution of customer-reported problems.
  • Support knowledge transfer activities by identifying recurring support gaps and helping train teams or departments to strengthen platform understanding and reduce repeat issues.

Skills You'll Use Every Day

  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical, analytical approach to problem-solving and clear written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to complete structured manual testing, including functional, UAT, regression, and end-to-end testing, with an understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) principles.
  • Proficiency in identifying and reporting defects through tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to coordinate closely with web product management, engineering, QA, and BA teams to aid in addressing problems and boost the clarity and quality of testing.
  • Comfortable performing cross-browser and cross-device validation to identify functional or usability issues.
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to adhere to structured procedures, handle competing priorities, and meet sprint-based deadlines.
  • Curious, proactive approach with a willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and QA practices.

Qualifications

  • Practical experience in manual functional testing of web applications, including writing and accomplishing test cases, scenarios, and scripts.
  • Experience using test and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail, with the ability to detail clear evidence and maintain organized test artifacts.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery environments, participating in sprint ceremonies and contributing to iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Foundational understanding of HTML/CSS, API testing concepts, or browser developer tools, with interest in developing technical testing skills over time.
  • Experience supporting UAT execution, validating acceptance criteria, and providing structured test evidence for release readiness.
  • Ability to analyze functional requirements and translate them into effective test coverage, identifying risks, dependencies, and gaps.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience working with digital products or SaaS platforms.
