YOUR MISSION

We’re looking for someone with a sharp eye for detail, a love of learning, and a genuine curiosity about people and ideas. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing, creative team and contribute to podcast content that informs and inspires a global audience.

As Junior Researcher for our Podcasts, you’ll play a vital role in shaping world-class guest episodes by delivering rigorous, insightful research that fuels powerful conversations.

You’ll be working across The Diary Of A CEO with Steven Bartlett, We Need To Talk with Paul C. Brunson, Begin Again with Davina McCall, Hot Smart Rich with Maggie Sellers Reum and more!

From deep-diving into a guest’s story to synthesising trends and ideas, you’ll turn complexity into clarity - supporting hosts, producers, and editors with briefs that are accurate, structured, and compelling.

DAY TO DAY

  • Data Analysis: Interpret research findings and audience data to extract meaningful insights that guide editorial direction.

  • Editorial Support: Assist with tasks such as writing podcast descriptions, validating name tests, and developing guest pitch materials.

  • Process Optimisation: Work within established research systems while helping to improve workflows and tools as the team evolves.

  • AI Integration: Use AI tools to boost research efficiency, uncover insights, and elevate the quality of content produced.

  • Collaboration: Partner closely with the Guest Booking and Production teams to ensure alignment on storylines and episode preparation.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay sharp on industry trends, research techniques, and podcast formats, constantly improving your craft.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • Proven research and analytical skills, with the ability to organise, interpret, and communicate complex information clearly.

  • A naturally structured thinker - someone who thrives on order, clarity, and precision in their work.

  • A strong sense of accountability and ownership - you take pride in getting the details right.

  • Demonstrated curiosity and creative problem-solving, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and find smart solutions.

  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Perplexity, or similar) and an eagerness to experiment with new technologies.

  • Comfortable working independently and proactively managing your time and priorities.

  • Strong written communication skills and editorial instincts.

  • Genuine interest in podcasting and a basic understanding of the podcast media landscape.
