Junior Project Manager - FIXED 12 MONTHS

Hybrid – Swindon or London Paddington

Competitive Salary + Bonus

 

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Project Manager to join our team here at PayTech.

 

This is a maternity cover position within the PayTech Market Success team where you will be supporting the delivery of client projects.

 

You will work with a number of stakeholder groups to support client change request and projects, working within a fast-moving environment where customer satisfaction, delivery implementation objectives, critical issues resolution and quality are key. 

 

What you will be doing:

Projects

  • Managing the implementation of new requirements through to acceptance and, rollout and support (including technical, legal, compliance/risk and financial work-streams)
  • Identify amendments in project objectives, with capacity to negotiate between core and future phasing in order to efficiently adhere to agreed delivery timeframes.
  • Planning, effort estimations, status reporting and project budget tracking
  • Drive issue resolution, enable reporting, and manage escalations.
  • Manage governance sessions at agreed frequency

  • Some relevant experience in project management or transferable skills
  • Experience of managing complex topics
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organised
  • Focus on delivery with customer satisfaction as a core principle
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • A proven record of working in a fast paced environment

 

Desirable:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in team leadership
  • PM qualifications preferred or equivalent experience
  • Understanding or experience in payment (card, mobile, wallet etc.)
