Our in-house team of over 100 Digital experts are augmented with expertise from partners across the globe to deliver the very best in Retail Technology with a firm eye on the future. Digital Trading and CRO  

We’re a best in class team with a strong track record of delivering incremental and profitable growth through optimised digital experiences. We focus on conversion rate optimisation and we’re equipped with a suite of best in market analytical and conversion tools. We constantly test and drive improvement across our digital channels both in the UK and internationally. 


Principle accountabilities:

  • With the support of the Senior Online Trading manager, drive the digital trading performance and strategy of our Kurt Geiger US and UK markets. Positioning our brand effectively as well as driving commercial performance
  • Line management of the Digital Trading Administrator to support, nurture and develop their digital trading skillset across all verticals
  • In collaboration with the Senior Online Trading manager define and deliver the trading strategy across our US and UK markets ensuring it supports both immediate commercial objectives & with consideration to more longer-term business growth
  • Lead the trading calendar, owning new campaign launches, promotional events and seasonal moments executing best-in-class on-site journeys to drive commercial performance, whilst also ensuring future risks to the plan are flagged and mitigated where possible using data & insights to tell a clear tangible story here
  • Management of the website catalogue including ensuring new product goes live timely, creating new categories and general catalogue management of large product sets to ensure our processes our efficient, adaptable to change and work properly
  • Manage, test and optimise onsite merchandising and product rankings in order to maximise product page reach rate, considering all site page types as well as brand considerations
  • Optimise the search and navigation functionality to deliver greater product discovery and on-site engagement ensuring what is displayed is aligned to our assortment & seasonality
  • Update, track and report on the digital forecast and trading plan with clear and actionable insights for various stakeholders, as well as tapping into key trading events particularly key US calendar moments
  • Work closely & collaborate with offshore teams to drive process efficiencies around our product enrichment process and key site touchpoints
  • Work closely with our on-site technology partners to champion the customer journey ensuring proven ROI and adoption of these tools
  • Work closely with the B&M departments to ensure stock levels, sell through rates, allocation, newness and replenishment are all factored into the digital trading plan
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing team to help optimise traffic performance by highlight product or category opportunities within the trading plan to guide paid ad site journeys
  • Support other digital team members as required but generally with clarity on our trading plan and insight in terms of commercial opportunities

What success looks like in this role

  • Delivering sustainable digital sales growth across both revenue as well as profitability
  • Improving core web KPI’s across any of conversion, AOV, add-to-bag rate & general product engagement
  • Executing seamless and easy customer journeys that inspire the Kurt Geiger customer by bringing our characterful collections to life digitally & ultimately drive commercial sales
  • Establish strong cross-functional relationships that allow you to influence key business decision and drive the brand forward
  • Embracing new technologies & site partners where relevant to drive incrementality

Requirements

Skills and Experience 

  • A strong track record of delivering revenue growth and commercial performance through digital channels – with any sizeable revenue owned in US markets especially sought after
  • Excellent commercial acumen and analytical capability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with, communicate and influence a wide group of stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Experience working on Shopify websites and related platforms is desirable but not compulsory
  • Experience with digital merchandising tools, such as FredHopper or Akeneo (PIM) preferred but not compulsory
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manipulate large data sets with accuracy and confidence
