Founders Forum Group is a global community and group of businesses empowering entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey. Owned by Founders Forum Group, Tech Nation is the leading growth platform and industry body for startups and their teams across the UK, supporting startups from seed stage to success story.

As Junior Content Editor, you'll work across Founders Forum and Tech Nation to deliver outstanding, engaging multimedia content that reaches and engages leading tech founders across the world.

As part of a small, dedicated Insights team, you'll work closely across teams to create multimedia content in a variety of formats — including written website content, interviews, newsletters, detailed data reports, marketing campaigns, video, and podcast.

No one day is the same at Founders Forum. We're a fast-paced startup-style environment, and we're looking for someone talented, detail-oriented, creative, and conscientious, with ambition to match. You'll need to be adaptable, tech-savvy, and ready for a challenge, with strong editorial skills and a willingness to learn.

One day you'll be interviewing the founder of Spotify or DeepMind, the next you'll be deciphering trends for one of our leading tech reports, and the next you'll be managing speakers for our brand new podcast. If you're early in your career and looking to build real experience and a diverse content portfolio, while staying at the forefront of UK and global tech and AI, this role is for you.

Note: This is a full-time role requiring four days per week in our London office.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Create cutting-edge multimedia content, from research reports to video and podcast.
  • Manage website content across Tech Nation and FF platforms, keeping our visual identity sharp and SEO in check.
  • Own the FF newsletter end-to-end, growing audience and engagement over time.
  • Analyse tech data and translate it into appealing, unique content that people actually want to read
  • Support the delivery of sponsored content campaigns and reports from inception through to delivery, making sure every deliverable lands, including post-launch marketing across website, socials, and email.
  • Track and analyse lead generation and content performance across our channels.
  • Research and implement new multimedia editorial opportunities and strategies.
  • Interview big-name speakers at FF Global and across our events.
  • Stay flexible as things shift — new challenges and new work come up often at FF, and we need people happy to jump in and help wherever it's needed.
Is This You?
  • You're a talented writer with a genuine passion for media and tech.
  • You're exceptionally organised and detail-oriented
  • You thrive in a fast-moving, slightly unstructured environment — you don't need everything mapped out to get going
  • You're comfortable using AI tools and know how to fold them into your workflow
  • You're kind, composed, and emotionally intelligent
  • You're enthusiastic and always up for trying something new
What You'll Bring
  • experience in an editorial or marketing role with a core content focus (internships, university newspapers and placements count!)
  • A portfolio with examples of your published work
  • Right to work in the UK
  • A proven interest in tech and startups is a big bonus, but not essential
What You'll Get
  • Competitive salary for a junior position
  • 25 days contractual annual leave
  • Enhanced discretionary leave provision, including an additional day off for your birthday and leave between Christmas and New Year’s Day
  • The option to work remotely anywhere in the world for 3 weeks a year (1 week at Easter and 2 weeks during July and August)
  • AXA Health insurance, with the option to add dependents
  • Life Insurance
  • Medicash access, including online GP access and mental health support
  • Competitive pension provision
  • Perkbox membership with generous monthly allocation of points for day-to-day purchases
  • Learning and development annual allowance
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Free lunch once a week, office snacks and regular team drinks
  • A genuinely fun office culture — think clubs, quarterly socials, and a team that likes hanging out as much as working together
  • Access to an incredible network, with the chance to speak to some of the biggest names in tech
  • A behind-the-scenes view of our events, as part of the number one tech community in the UK and Europe
  • Varied, hands-on experience across content, data, and campaigns — plus genuine support to help you grow
Our Process
  1. Submit your CV + portfolio (two examples of published work)
  2. Short virtual call with our People Ops & Culture Exec
  3. Short creative task — a brief exercise to get a feel for your writing style, how you handle data and turn it into engaging content, and how you approach a real Insights-style brief. We know you might use AI as part of your content creation — that's completely fine; we want to see how you use it.
  4. In-person interview with our Head of Content and some other members of the FF team.
