The Role

Step into the role of Wholesale Operations Coordinator.

Discover an exciting opportunity to take on an integral role here at Joules Head Office working within our Partnerships team.

Working Pattern: This is a full time role based at ‘The Barn’ -  Joules’ purpose built Head Office in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. The typical hours for this role are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and this is an onsite role.

Our Location

Market Harborough in Leicestershire, is where Joules began in 1989. This market town is home to the brand’s Head Office and is full of independent shops, bars and restaurants. It also benefits from good transport links to London, making it easily accessible for visitors and commuters alike.

What You’ll Do

Here at Joules, we work with a wide range of external wholesale partners. The wholesale Operations team manages and optimises our wholesale order book, by ensuring end-to-end order execution, on time deliveries and providing exceptional customer service to our partners. Working closely with our sales, finance and distribution teams you will be the primary operational link between internal stakeholders and external wholesale customers.

You will be responsible for:

  • Looking after our partner orders: Keep an eye on every order from start to finish, making sure our wholesale partners get exactly what they asked for, right on time.
  • Teamwork to keep things moving: Work closely with our Finance and Sales teams to clear any account hiccups or holds so orders flow through smoothly.
  • Working with our warehouse: Stay in touch with our Distribution Centre to make sure deliveries are packed, prepped, and shipped within key deadlines.
  • Sorting out returns and credits: Handle the whole process for returns, credits, and claims, keeping our records tidy and accurate.
  • Building great relationships: Be the friendly, helpful point of contact for our wholesale partners, sales reps, and internal teams.
  • Supporting partner meetings: Join in on virtual or face-to-face partner meetings alongside the Sales team to offer practical, operational insight.
  • Solving everyday problems: Take ownership when things hit a snag, dealing with enquiries promptly and bringing in senior colleagues if something tricky crops up.
  • Staying responsive and stepping in: Answer calls and emails quickly, share ideas in team meetings, and lend a hand to colleagues during busy periods.
  • Spotting better ways of working: Keep a keen eye out for ways to make our day-to-day processes run smoother and adapt happily as the business evolves.

What You’ll Bring

To really shine in this role, you will bring a great mix of commercial confidence, sharp organisation, and a genuine bit of detective spirit. You are naturally curious, love digging beneath the surface, and thrive on piecing together the puzzle when an enquiry or order hiccup pops up, often with only half the clues to go on.

Whether you are chatting over the phone, replying to emails, or welcoming our wholesale partners to The Barn during peak showroom season, you build brilliant, lasting relationships while knowing when to hold a firm, professional line. You take real pride in the small details and administrative accuracy, keeping everything running smoothly even when juggling competing deadlines and peak workloads. Alongside a cool head under pressure and a knack for thinking on your feet, you bring a positive, team-first energy that helps us deliver effortless service across the business.

We would also love to see:

  • A curious problem solver who loves investigating order details and getting to the bottom of a puzzle
  • Brilliant communication skills, whether chatting over the phone, via email, or hosting guests at The Barn
  • A cool head under pressure who can think on their feet, prioritise tasks, and hold a firm, confident line
  • Sharp attention to detail with good everyday IT skills, particularly across spreadsheets and Google Workspace
  • A proactive team player who is adaptable, collaborative, and always ready to roll up their sleeves
