Cutting Edge Music Tech - On-Demand Vinyl Records

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure & Systems Administrator to help us redefine the music industry. We've invented a new technology to produce on-demand vinyl records and built a web platform for music creators to create and sell their products worldwide via our store at zero cost. We partner with leading record labels, streaming services, digital providers, distributors, and iconic global artists to build a global solution for physical media, but most importantly, we give small and emerging artists frictionless access to offer vinyl and CDs to their fans through our innovative solution and planned production/fulfilment centres in Europe, the USA, and Asia.

The vinyl market has grown over 20% yearly for the last 16 years, and CDs are growing again for the first time in two decades. By 2030, there will be nearly 200 million music creators worldwide (with AI accelerating this even further). Most would love to have their music on vinyl or CD for friends, family, and fans,  many would happily buy a record for around $30 if accessible without high costs or minimums, which our scalable on-demand tech makes possible. elasticStage delivers easy, affordable access to this booming opportunity.

We are looking for a hands-on IT Infrastructure & Systems Administrator to manage and improve the company’s core technology infrastructure. This role will support both office IT systems and specialised production environments, ensuring reliable operations as elasticStage scales from a single site to multiple locations.

This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure, networking, and systems integration, supporting both traditional office IT and specialised production equipment.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on infrastructure generalist who enjoys solving complex problems, understands how systems interact, and is comfortable working across servers, networks, and production environments.

RequirementsRole Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Systems

  • Administer and maintain core IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, operating systems, and business applications.
  • Perform routine system administration, including updates, patching, backups, and monitoring.
  • Manage data storage solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Support Linux-based systems and containerized environments (Docker or similar).
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and systems where multiple services interact.

Security & Risk

  • Ensure systems remain compliant with company security policies, including patching, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management.
  • Monitor system alerts and proactively identify potential security risks or vulnerabilities.
  • Support implementation and improvement of access control and security best practices.
  • Maintain secure system configurations and assist with incident response when required.

Networking & Infrastructure

  • Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, VPN connectivity, and wireless networks.
  • Configure and maintain VLANs and network segmentation to improve security and network reliability.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues across office and production environments.
  • Support the design and deployment of networking infrastructure for new offices and production sites.
  • Implement and maintain firewall rules, access controls, and network security practices.
  • Maintain documentation of network architecture, configurations, and infrastructure changes.

Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Support desktop environment upgrades and broader IT improvement initiatives.
  • Document IT processes, systems, and standard operating procedures to support future scaling.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with teams across the organisation and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for complex IT issues affecting staff and infrastructure.
Role Requirements:
  • 5+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or similar roles.
  • Strong experience supporting servers, networking infrastructure, and enterprise IT systems.
  • Experience managing network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, VPNs, and VLANs.
  • Experience working with Linux-based systems and server environments.
  • Experience supporting containerized environments (Docker or similar).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, networking, operating systems, and applications.
  • Good understanding of security fundamentals, including patch management, endpoint protection, and access control.
  • Ability to diagnose problems across systems where multiple services, devices, and networks interact.
  • Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
Desirable:
  • Experience supporting IT environments in manufacturing or production settings.
  • Experience with automation or scripting (Bash, Python, or similar).
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery systems.
  • Relevant certifications (Network+, Security+, Linux, Microsoft, AWS/Azure).
