Lead enterprise IT business analysis for CRM/ERP/Finance systems: elicit and document requirements, engage stakeholders, analyse and improve processes, design and validate solutions, support change management, testing/UAT, data analysis and reporting, training, and governance to align with business transformation programs.
As a NetSuite Business Analyst, you will play a key role in Forterro's Lead-to-Cash (L2C) and Finance Transformation Programme. You will work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Revenue Operations, Professional Services, Sales Operations and IT to improve and standardise business processes, support platform consolidation initiatives following acquisitions, and help deliver scalable enterprise solutions based on NetSuite ERP and ZoneBilling.
You will analyse business requirements, identify process improvement opportunities, and translate business needs into effective system solutions. Working alongside technical teams and business stakeholders, you will contribute to the optimisation of Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes while supporting the successful adoption of standardised finance and back-office capabilities across Forterro's growing portfolio of software businesses.
Responsibilities
- Analyse, document and optimise Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, including billing, revenue recognition, financial reporting and consolidation.
- Gather, document and manage business requirements, user stories and functional specifications.
- Translate business requirements into scalable NetSuite ERP and ZoneBilling solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Operations and IT.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, harmonisation and standardisation across acquired businesses.
- Support data migration, testing (UAT), solution validation and reporting initiatives.
- Contribute to change management, training and user adoption activities.
- Ensure solutions comply with governance, security and regulatory requirements.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience, including at least 3 years focused on NetSuite, with hands-on involvement in ERP implementations, migrations and optimisation projects.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, including billing, revenue recognition, accounts receivable, general ledger and financial reporting.
- Experience with ZoneBilling or a similar subscription billing solution.
- Proven expertise in requirements gathering, process mapping, stakeholder management and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Experience working in Agile environments and supporting finance transformation initiatives within SaaS, software or subscription-based organisations.
- Ideally holds NetSuite certifications and has experience with M&A integrations, finance platform consolidations, Salesforce integrations and data migration projects.
- Knowledge of recurring revenue business models, European VAT, statutory reporting and e-invoicing requirements is an advantage.
- Degree in Finance, Business, IT or a related field; accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA are beneficial.
- Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of working across business and technical teams.
- Passionate about driving business transformation, process standardisation and delivering scalable NetSuite-based solutions.
