About the Role

Brook Green Supply is a growing energy business based in London, building out its own fully independent Microsoft 365 and Azure infrastructure. The IT function is a lean, high-impact team responsible for the full technology environment — from end-user support through to cloud identity, device management, and security.

As IT Support Analyst (Level 1), you will be the first point of contact for all internal technology requests, providing responsive and professional support across hardware, software, connectivity, and user account management. You will work closely with the Head of IT Infrastructure, gaining hands-on exposure to Azure AD/Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Teams, SharePoint, and the broader M365 platform.

Key Responsibilities

User Support & Service Desk

•        Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests via Microsoft Teams, email, and in person

•        Log, triage, and track incidents and service requests, escalating to support level 2 or the Head of IT where appropriate

•        Provide hands-on and remote support for Windows 10/11 devices, macOS devices, Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), and peripherals

•        Troubleshoot connectivity issues including Wi-Fi, VPN, and Ethernet

•        Set up and configure laptops, desktops, and mobile devices using Microsoft Intune / Autopilot

 

Identity & Account Management

•        Create, modify, and disable user accounts in Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) following the IT lifecycle process

•        Manage Microsoft 365 licence assignments and group memberships

•        Support onboarding and offboarding workflows, coordinating with HR to ensure timely access provisioning and deprovisioning

•        Assist with multi-factor authentication (MFA) enrolment and account recovery

 

Infrastructure & Systems

•        Carry out routine maintenance tasks including patching, asset inventory updates, and printer/peripheral management

•        Support the Head of IT with Microsoft Intune policy rollouts and device compliance monitoring

•        Assist with SharePoint Online and Teams administration, including site provisioning and permissions

•        Monitor Microsoft 365 service health dashboards and flag anomalies

 

Documentation & Process

•        Maintain accurate IT asset records and contribute to the internal IT knowledge base

•        Document support procedures, common fixes, and configuration guides

•        Assist with IT project tasks as directed by the Head of IT

Skills & Experience

Essential

•        Demonstrable experience in an IT support or helpdesk role (1+ years)

•        Solid working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 applications

•        Familiarity with Azure Active Directory / Entra ID user and group management

•        Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN)

•        Customer-focused mindset with clear, professional communication skills

•        Methodical approach to troubleshooting with strong attention to detail

 

Desirable

•        Experience with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager for device management

•        Exposure to Microsoft Teams administration or SharePoint Online

•        Familiarity with IT ticketing systems (Jira Service Management or similar)

•        CompTIA A+, Microsoft MS-900, or AZ-900 certification (or studying towards)

•        A self-starter comfortable working in a small team with a wide remit

•        Eager to learn and develop technical skills across cloud and on-premises technologies

•        Calm under pressure, with the ability to prioritise competing demands

•        Professional and discreet, with an appreciation for information security and data protection

•        Collaborative and approachable, with a proactive attitude to problem-solving
