Position Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven IT Support Manager to oversee and support our futures trading and clearing systems. This role involves managing end-to-end IT projects, ensuring system stability, supporting operations, and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to deliver seamless trading infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, troubleshooting skills, and domain knowledge of financial trading platforms and regulatory frameworks.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end IT project comprising of futures trading and clearing systems, market connectivity, and clearing workflows.

  • Prepare and manage detailed project task list with timelines, identify risks, escalate issues, and coordinate mitigation strategies.

  • Assist in the implementation of the system, upgrades, and testing activities

  • Handle technical inquiries from trading and operations desk

  • Provide hands-on system maintenance, troubleshooting, liaise with vendors.

  • Monitor system health and availability, responding swiftly to incidents and anomalies

  • Formalize and update technical documentation, operational procedures, and user guides

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to support business and technology needs

  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required to support the IT function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical operations or systems support, ideally within financial services

  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proficiency in SQL and Linux environment operations is essential

  • Knowledge of Futures trading/settlement systems and exchange connectivity; hands on experience with platforms such as ION, FIS, TT is highly advantageous

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, PowerShell) for automation and reporting is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with system monitoring tools

  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., FCA, EMIR) and their impact on system operations

  • Excellent command of English – verbal and written.
