We have an opportunity for an IT Domain Specialist waiting just for you. Reporting into the Head of IT, you willbe responsible for acting as the local expert for a specific IT domain (e.g., Sales, After Sales), ensuring the effective operation of local and central applications, and serving as the primary contact for all IT-related processes within the domain. The role focuses on aligning business-critical processes with HQ standards while addressing market-specific requirements, supporting smooth operations, and facilitating communication between local teams and HQ.

  • Ensure effective operation and coordination of local and central applications within the domain.

  • Act as the primary liaison to HQ, communicating market-specific needs, challenges, and improvement opportunities.

  • Coordinate with Local TAM for HQ Apps on releases, updates, and changes to HQ solutions.

  • Facilitate issue resolution by ensuring local teams have the knowledge and tools to troubleshoot and escalate issues appropriately.

  • Create and maintain clear documentation of local integrations, adaptations, and support processes.

  • Ensure compliance with company-wide IT policies and data security requirements within the domain.

Qualifications

About you

We are seeking a candidate with strong knowledge of local and central IT applications and how they support business processes, ideally gained within Daimler Truck or a similar multi‑country organisation. You should be able to align local processes with HQ standards while accommodating market‑specific needs.

Excellent communication and coordination skills are essential, as you will work closely with both HQ and local teams. The role also requires experience in documentation, process standardisation, and effective problem‑solving to support smooth issue resolution.

A solid understanding of company‑wide IT policies and data security requirements is important, along with a collaborative mindset and the ability to share best practices across markets.

This is a full-time hybrid role, where you would be required to work form our head office based in Milton Keynes a minimum of two days a week in the office.
