Responsible for providing end user technology support, implementing IT projects, and supporting trading applications in the London and European locations.
Position Description
This position is responsible for providing frontline end user technology support and implementing IT projects to the office in London and other European locations. This role will also support IT infrastructure engineering activities coordinated by functions groups in Asia headquarter.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Adhere to FCA regulations and CLSA's Code of Conduct at all times.
- Required to comply with company procedures regarding personal account trading, processing client complaints, and gifts and inducement policy, and other relevant global or local policies
- Follow local guidelines on logging, tracking, updating, and escalation support calls as well as managing issue to final resolution.
- Follow local guidelines for morning checks when on morning shift-rotation.
- Provide front-line end-user support on PC/laptops hardware and software including Microsoft productivity suite, in-house applications, and cloud applications.
- Facilitate support for Bloomberg, WIND, and other market data applications
- Assist in trading floor moves, add, and changes
- Provide front-line support to voice, video conferencing and telecoms systems.
- Liaise closely with IT colleagues in other regions to ensure consistency with global policies, standards, and initiatives.
- Implement and/or coordinate IT projects
- Provide support for remote users on VPN
- Ability to work flexible hours and varying shifts, including weekends and out of hours when called upon
- Assist end users with their AI needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (not necessarily IT related)
- CompTIA A+ (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience supporting trading floors with good experience supporting Bloomberg Terminals and/or other trading applications
- Advanced technical skills supporting Microsoft Office suite of applications, PC/laptops and mobile devices
- Good knowledge of LAN networking and video conferencing software: Zoom, Teams
- Demonstrated familiarity with Desktop operating system, office automation and general infrastructure
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills
- Good team player of the working team for UK and European offices
