Summary of our opportunity

The role is in the team that is responsible for overseeing the operations and fund finance function of ICG’s Strategic Equity Funds. The role is a co-ordinator across the business working closely with the investment team and wider ICG support teams.

The role will have responsibility for reviewing performance management, investor reporting and fund forecasting. The team is key to the operational performance of the funds, managing liquidity and the day-to-day operations of the funds.

Strategic Equity Business Summary:

ICG Strategic Equity (“ICGSE”) is a specialist private equity investment manager overseeing $21bn of commitments across its commingled funds and separately managed accounts, delivering top quartile performance. 

Founded in 2014, ICGSE has completed 43 transactions across various geographies and sectors and is the largest GP-led secondaries investor globally, specialising in Single Asset Continuation Vehicle investments of scale, typically over $500m.

The team has now fully deployed its Fund IV ($5.1bn) and held a final close on Fund V in February 2025 with total commitments of $11.0bn which is currently being deployed. First close of Fund VI is expected in Q1 2027 which will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to assist in the fundraising.

Primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):

PM and Deal Team Support

  • Co-ordination across the business
  • In-detail review of models across all funds
  • Fund forecasting for strategic decisions

Risk and performance management

  • Modelling, monitoring and optimisation of bridge facility usage and commercial terms
  • ICG carry calculations and forecasting
  • Dry powder / capacity analysis

Investor reporting and relations

  • Review and preparation of quarterly performance reports, customised LP reports, investor day and LPAC decks
  • Fundraising support
  • Responding to external investor queries and internal CSG teams
  • ODD materials

Key Requirements/ Qualifications

You will have demonstrable experience of: 

Essential

  • Qualified chartered accountant or equivalent
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills. Skills in Word also required.
  • Experience working with forecast models
  • Report writing skills
  • Experience within Financial Services, ideally within a private equity or investment management firm
  • Understanding of closed ended fund performance metrics (IRR, money multiples etc) and carried interest

Desirable

  • Significant fund accounting and/or administration background
  • International funds experience
  • Knowledge of IFRS / US GAAP

  • Strong written skills; must be fluent in English
