The role

As an Investment Manager you will be responsible for managing and executing portfolio implementation projects, as well as analyse the markets, rebalance/transitions trades and index changes to formulate implementation plans with an awareness of potential risks based on pre-trade analysis, with a focus on minimising turnover, market impact and T-costs.

The role requires you to provide oversight for trade generation, cash, FX, corporate actions and transitions across quantitative and fundamental portfolios, overlays and pooled funds. You will also contribute to the planning and co-ordination with the trading desk to achieve good execution outcomes and liaise with Investment Operations, Investment IT Ops, Compliance and other departments as required.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

The person

The successful candidate will have experience managing and executing portfolio implementation projects, with an active mind for process and operational improvement. Demonstratable experience in the markets would be essential, having previously covered different asset classes and how they trade. Previous experience managing money would be preferable.

We are looking for someone who is a proactive and a creative thinker, with a deep passion for long-term multi asset investing. You will also be an effective communicator with the ability to positively challenge the views of colleagues within the organisation whilst remaining open minded to challenge in respect of your own views.

Our values of integrity, community and alignment are the guiding principles that influence our behaviour. They help us make decisions and shape our relationships with others.
