About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join AIG's Global Claims Training team in a role that sits at the heart of our learning and development function. You will partner closely with our Claims leadership teams across the UK to design, develop, and deliver high-quality training that drives measurable performance improvement.

Based flexibly across one of our UK locations, you will take a lead in shaping our learning programmes, expanding our online Claims University platform, and facilitating classroom-based and virtual training sessions. Collaborating with key stakeholders and subject matter experts, you will help build and maintain the long-term learning strategies that support AIG's Claims goals.

This is a direct role that calls for someone with a genuine passion for individual and  team development, and facilitating meaningful change in a complex, demanding environment.

How you'll make an impactLeadership & Communication

•       Influence and inspire experienced Claims professionals across geographies, acting as a trusted go-to partner for learning and development.

•       Build strong relationships with Claims leadership, Quality Assurance teams, and subject matter experts to co-create and deliver impactful content.

•       Champion a culture of continuous improvement and take ownership of outcomes across multiple workstreams.

Training Design & Development

•       Design, develop, and evaluate a full suite of learning solutions spanning classroom facilitation, virtual delivery, and e-learning.

•       Apply instructional design best practice to ensure training content produces meaningful changes in behaviour, attitude, knowledge, and skills.

•       Develop and maintain training materials, job aids, facilitator guides, presentations, and e-learning modules for use across Claims University and wider business.

•       Use strategic thinking to analyse target audiences, job tasks, learner environments, and existing content to identify appropriate instructional strategies.

Content Facilitation & Delivery

•       Facilitate engaging, high-quality training sessions for experienced Claims professionals, both face-to-face and virtually.

•       Deliver improvement initiatives to audiences across multiple UK geographies with confidence and credibility.

•       Coordinate Training events for the EMEA region including scheduling and logistics.

Project Management & Data Analysis

•       Manage training projects from scoping through to evaluation, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to scope.

•       Define and collect success metrics to evaluate programme effectiveness; identify areas for improvement and present recommendations to stakeholders.

•       Co-ordinate live training logistics and oversee content updates to ensure materials remain current and commercially relevant.

What you'll need to succeed

•       Significant experience within the insurance industry, with an understanding of the technical skills required for excellence in Claims Handling  Experience may be: Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, Casualty, Property, Specialty, or Financial Lines.

•       Experience across two or more of the following disciplines: Leadership, Team Development, Training Delivery, Classroom Facilitation, or Curriculum Development.

•       Demonstrable experience in project management with the ability to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of outcomes.

•       Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.

•       Comfortable working within both virtual team environments and in-person, location-based settings.

·       BONUS: Experience creating content using Adobe Creative Cloud Articulate Rise and Storyline 360, Camtasia and other eLearning resources
