We are looking for a qualified Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit team. This is an excellent opportunity to support high-quality assurance and advisory reviews, provide insightful reporting to senior stakeholders, and contribute to the continued improvement of our control environment.
You will play an important role in quarterly Risk & Audit Committee reporting, annual audit planning and risk assessment, as well as ad hoc reviews and advisory assignments.
What you’ll be doing
- Preparing and presenting clear, insightful quarterly reports for the Risk & Audit Committee
- Supporting annual internal audit planning, risk assessments and stakeholder engagement
- Conducting ad hoc assurance and advisory reviews across the business
- Providing practical recommendations to strengthen processes and controls
- Maintaining and updating the Internal Audit Manual in line with emerging standards, best practice and departmental objectives
- Responding promptly and consistently to audit, risk and control-related queries
- Building effective relationships with stakeholders across the organisation
- Contributing to automation and continuous improvement initiatives within Internal Audit
What you’ll bring
Essential
- A professional qualification or certification in internal audit, IT audit, IT security, fraud or a related discipline
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex information and draw clear, well-supported conclusions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing high-quality reports and presentations
- A structured and organised approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- High levels of integrity, objectivity and professional judgement
- The confidence to engage with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation
Desirable
- Experience of, or an interest in, emerging technologies such as robotic process automation (RPA) and artificial intelligence (AI)
- An understanding of how technology can support the delivery and effectiveness of internal audit
