The Role:
The Data Platform Services team are responsible for the build and operation of the Morningstar enterprise Data Lake and Lakehouse, our future state central data platform.
We are seeking a Technology Summer Intern to work alongside our Data Governance squad on an Artificial Intelligence initiative to enhance the Data Dictionary that underpins the metadata used to classify and understand our data assets.
This role is located in our London office.

- Create an automated, step-by-step workflow to detect anomalies and suggest corrections in text fields in the Morningstar Data Dictionary
- Integrate this workflow into the data onboarding/update process
Qualifications:
- A Computer Science (or related subject) honours undergraduate, having completed 1+ years of their degree course
- An interest in Artificial Intelligence and a demonstratable understanding of concepts like fuzzy matching and entity recognition
- A keen attitude and a willingness to dive in and deliver value during the internship
