About Jupiter

Jupiter is one of the UK’s leading investment management companies with just over 500 employees and £73.7 billion worth of assets under management (as at 30th June 2026).

Jupiter provides investment services to individual and institutional investors through mutual funds (UK unit trusts, Luxembourg SICAVs and Dublin OEICs), separately managed accounts and sub-advised funds. Jupiter has experienced a period of international growth with offices open in EMEA and APAC.

The majority of our employees are based in our London office located just minutes from Victoria station which provides stair-free access from both the Underground’s Victoria line and National Rail platforms, as well as limited road crossings to the Jupiter office. Our London office was designed to encourage employees to live active, healthy lives with floor-to-ceiling windows that allow for greater natural light and the benefit of a private balcony, table tennis room, cycle storage and on-site shower and locker facilities. The short distance to Green Park and St James' Park also provides employees with a natural space to relax during their lunch break and a healthy alternative to office-based meetings.

We offer our UK employees a 3:2 hybrid working arrangement where Tuesdays, Thursdays and a third day of your choice are worked from the office. The other two days may be worked from home.  This facilitates collaboration and allows employees to maximise productivity whilst maintaining a healthy work/life balance.

Background

This is an exciting opportunity to join Jupiter's Client Group on a fixed-term maternity cover contract, supporting the Institutional Distribution team with the continued growth of Jupiter's systematic and alternative investment capabilities.

The role will focus on supporting fundraising efforts for Jupiter's investment capabilities, with a particular emphasis on institutional investors across North America. The successful candidate will work closely with senior members of the Institutional team, Investment Management, Product, Marketing and Compliance to deliver a high standard of client coverage and business development support. This is a fast-paced, client-facing role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong relationship management capabilities and an understanding of institutional sales processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support business development activities across institutional investors, consultants, OCIOs, family offices and hedge fund allocators.

  • Coordinate relationships with capital introduction (Cap Intro) teams across prime brokers to generate qualified investor introductions and maximise fundraising opportunities.

  • Maintain the North American institutional sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities, meeting notes, follow-up actions and reporting are accurately captured and managed through CRM.

  • Coordinate and execute follow-up activity from conferences, roadshows and client meetings to ensure timely progression of opportunities.

  • Coordinate responses to investor requests, due diligence questionnaires and ad hoc information requests, liaising with internal stakeholders where required.

  • Support the organisation of investor roadshows, conference attendance and virtual meetings.

  • Ability to pitch and attend investor meetings, accompanied by an investment professional.

  • Build strong internal relationships across Investment Management, Product, Marketing, Client Services and Compliance to ensure a seamless client experience.

  • Monitor fundraising activity and pipeline progression, producing regular management reporting where required.

  • Maintain a high standard of client communication and represent Jupiter professionally in all interactions.

Desired Skills / Experience

  • Experience in institutional sales, client relationship management or business development within asset management, hedge funds or alternative investments.

  • Experience communicating institutional investment strategies, with knowledge of hedge fund products highly desirable.

  • Demonstrable experience managing sales pipelines and CRM systems with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Preferred but not required: experience developing relationships and extracting value from capital introduction teams.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to sophisticated institutional investors.

  • Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships internally and externally.

  • Commercial mindset with a client-centric and solutions-focused approach.

  • Knowledge of institutional investment markets and fundraising processes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel; experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce is advantageous.
