Integrated Demand Planner
Up to £48,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6A) 
Manchester city centre / hybrid working with a minimum of one day per week in the office. 
12-month secondment / fixed-term contract

We’re looking for an Integrated Demand Planner to join Co op, working in close partnership with key supplier partners to help make sure our customers can always find the products they need, while balancing availability, waste and profitability. You’ll take the lead on planning demand for a defined product range, working cross functionally across Co op and with external partners to support great availability for our members and customers.

Food to go is a staple for our members and customers, so getting availability right is critical. In this role, your decisions will directly impact shelf availability, customer satisfaction and waste reduction.
Working at the heart of key supplier partnerships, you’ll turn data and collaboration into practical demand plans that support category growth, sustainability and our vision of co operating to build more value for our member owners every day.

What you’ll do

• Manage the end to end lifecycle of products, including range changes and new launches
• Optimise availability, supporting sales and profitability through effective planning and forecasting
• Work closely with Buying and Merchandising teams to plan promotions, displays and seasonal uplifts
• Manage both direct to store and depot to store supply routes
• Respond to seasonality, weather and demand changes in a fast moving environment
• Lead supplier collaboration, clearly communicating forecasts, risks and assumptions
• Own forecast accuracy through strong sales history management and capacity aware planning
• Maintain high standards of system and data integrity within SAP
• Champion continuous improvement, compliance (including GSCOP) and positive Supply Chain behaviours

What we’re looking for

• Experience in demand planning, supply chain or account based planning
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills
• Ability to balance competing priorities and adapt to change
• A collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and customer focus
