Job Description

We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Insights Manager to lead the delivery of data-driven insights that support the Commercial division of the Group, including areas such as Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Network Planning, and Loyalty. This role will work in collaboration with a team of data analysts and act as a key liaison between the data department and commercial stakeholders to ensure that project are prioritized and defined according to business needs. 

Key Responsibilities

Insights Generation & Business Support

  • Partner with commercial teams to understand business goals and provide analytical solutions that support pricing strategy, route profitability, sales performance, customer segmentation, and marketing campaigns.
  • Analyse market sensitivities, demand patterns, booking behaviours, and competitive performance using internal and external data sources.
  • Develop and deliver clear, actionable insights to drive revenue optimisation, enhance customer experience, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Summarise and distil commercial performance, trends, and opportunities, producing high-quality reports and presenting regularly to senior leadership at Group level.

Data & Reporting Excellence

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of dashboards, forecasting models, and recurring performance reports tailored to the airline's commercial KPIs.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and alignment across departments.

Stakeholder Engagement & Strategic coordination

  • Oversee project prioritization, resource allocation, and timely delivery of insights and reporting outputs.
  • Encourage innovation in analysis methods, tools, and storytelling techniques.
  • Constructively challenge stakeholders to ensure project prioritisation reflects the most critical and urgent business goals.
  • Act as the data representative to commercial leadership, ensuring insights align with broader business priorities.
  • Build strong relationships with commercial stakeholders to proactively identify opportunities where data can unlock business value.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Operations Research, or Business Analytics).
  • 6+ years of experience in the aviation, travel technology, or transportation sectors.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in roles such as commercial analysis, strategy consulting, or corporate development.
  • At least 2 years’ experience leading or managing a team of data analysts.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders through data storytelling.

Preferred

  • Expertise in SQL and advanced data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
  • Knowledge of statistical modelling, forecasting, or machine learning techniques.
