Job Description:

  • Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, card deck leads, aged leads, bingos, dealer resellers, business directories, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
  • Make outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services.
  • Handle inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.
  • Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers.
  • Emphasise salable features, quote prices and credit terms, and prepare sales orders for orders obtained.
  • System Demos and/or organise System Demos
  • Co-ordinate customer training.
  • Establish and maintain business relationships with customers; work closely with customers to better understand and meet their individual needs and requirements.
  • Prepare reports of business transactions.
  • Learn and promote company products and services
  • Provide feedback to management and Marketing regarding customer needs and concerns.
  • Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database. Maintain customer contact information for lead generation purposes.
  • Work with outside sales representatives and/or account managers to keep account activities and literature up to date.
  • Strategise with team members on ways to improve sales figures and identify the benefits of products and services for the customer.
  • Investigate and assist in resolving customer problems with deliveries and other issues.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree a plus
  • Two years of sales experience
  • Industry experience in the property restoration sector
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Negotiate favorable results and win-win solutions
  • High-energy, self-motivated, and a hard worker
  • Experience in the Property Restoration industry a plus
  • Excellent conversational and listening skills; clear and precise speaker with professional phone presence, able to conduct calls without a script
  • Research skills—must be an excellent “googler”
  • Ability to work in a team environment and fulfill objectives with minimal direct supervision
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
  • Innovative, proactive, and self-directed
  • Ability to focus on goals and develop a work plan that produces desired results
