We are looking for a skilled and proactive Infrastructure & Support Engineer to join our dynamic team!  

This role is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of cloud-based infrastructure and IoT technology. As part of the team, you will help manage and enhance our analytics capabilities within the Elekta Cloud's central infrastructure while providing top-notch front-line support to engineers and users by diagnosing and resolving production issues.

What you’ll do at Elekta 

Key responsibilities include collaborating with software engineering teams to design, deploy, and operate IoT software applications. You will also focus on automating and optimizing operations, building and maintaining deployment and monitoring tools, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth functionality across development, test, and production environments. 

 

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to) 

Infrastructure 

  • Deploy Cloud Infrastructure (The Analytics Platform) 

  • Monitor and Maintain cloud infrastructure. 

 Support 

  • First line support for the production system. 

 Environment Management 

  • Manage vendor releases and integration to Elekta environments 

  • Keep Elekta environments in sync and coordinate change. 

  • Manage and develop the environment change control process. 

  • Manage and develop the Azure test environments. 

 DevOps 

  • Hands on DevOps engineering. 

  • Manage and improve test automation execution. 

 

The right stuff 

  • Ability to technically lead change across teams tools & processes. 

  • Experience in collaborating closely with multi-disciplinary teams on planning, designing, testing, and documenting standards. 

  • Take personal accountability for the timeliness and quality of deliverables, working on assigned tasks as part of a team. 

  • Demonstrated ability to scope, prioritize, and drive improvement initiatives across support processes, DevOps, environment management, and change controls. 

 

 

What you bring 

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar technical field; or 3 years of related professional experience in a similar technical field. 

  • Azure Cloud, including networking, security, automated deployment. 

  • 3 years’ experience with source code repositories, version control systems, continuous integration, Windows installers, and automation. 
  • Experience with Build tools for .NET/C# Applications. 

  • Experience with DevOps application in low-code platforms. 

  • 3 years’ experience with standard software development lifecycle best practices. 

  • Experience with DevOps tooling: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git. 

  • Experience with fully automating CI/CD pipelines. 

  • Strong scripting skills, including batch files, shell scripts, Python, etc. 

  • Experience working with and deploying to Microsoft Azure or other cloud technologies. 

  • Experience working with both Linux and Windows operating systems as well as writing and maintaining automation scripts.
