As an Infrastructure Consultant in the UK, you will work closely with our public sector customers to understand their strategic infrastructure and business goals, designing and delivering tailored, high-performance solutions. You'll leverage your deep expertise in cloud and infrastructure technologies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to deliver the adoption of Red Hat’s open source solutions.

Note: This role requires active UK highest-level defence security clearance.

What you will do:

  • Act as a technical consultant and subject matter expert on-site, translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure architectures.

  • Combine technical knowledge and business understanding to create solutions for our customers

  • Assist with project related activities (both technical and non)

  • Find solutions that will benefit customers and create new opportunities for Red Hat

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the client, and assist the project of technical managers in setting and delivering on expectations

  • Work closely with colleagues in a collaborative team environment, providing and sharing knowledge; build and maintain strong relationships with your colleagues and our customers

  • Stay at the forefront of technology, evaluating emerging trends and applying new Red Hat solutions to meet evolving customer needs.

What you will bring:

  • Active, highest-level UK defence security clearance is essential.

  • Experience of Linux system administration (RHEL preferred)

  • Experience with Red Hat OpenShift 

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automation technologies, particularly Red Hat Ansible, Terraform, or similar.

  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., RHEV/oVirt, VMware) in large-scale enterprise environments.

  • This role requires working onsite (100%).
