About The Role:
The Industrial Designer role will focus on designing, evaluating and modeling innovative product experiences. The role will require applying a human-centered design approach to create meaningful product solutions using consumer insights. The role will illustrate product's potential through detailed drawings, blueprints and computer-aided designs.
We work with a hybrid model, 3 days a week in our iconic Battersea Power Station London office.
Here are some of the exciting things you’ll get to do:
- Supports in designing and creating high-fidelity illustrations to demonstrate actual physical products
- Prepares functional and visual prototypes for research purposes and internal review
- Maintains quality standards for design throughout the product lifecycle
- Stay informed on current and emerging trends, innovations and materials within the industry
- Develops product design solutions and ensure usability from conceptualization to production
- Collaborates cross functionally to conceptualize, visualize and create new products
Here are some of the things you'll bring:
- BA or BS in Industrial Design or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience as a designer involving small appliances, consumer electronics, or a related role
- MS in Industrial Design or a related field preferred
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) along with good sound interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to work under supervision or guidance
- Solid analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
