About this opportunity:
We are now looking for an Indirect Tax Specialist to handle Indirect Tax Compliance work including Tax accounting and reporting. The position will be covering Indirect Tax compliance work for companies within Asia Pacific.
What you will do:
- Responsible for VAT compliance from analysis of data, preparation of VAT returns, up to tax filing and payment
- Ensure corrections for VAT or other tax accounts are reflected in the system
- Ensure timely submission of tax returns, with high accuracy of data
- Drive and initiate optimal ways of working related to process, systems, and automation in area of indirect tax
- Provide audit support to gather indirect tax documentation and information as requested by the tax auditors
- Perform local statistical reporting related to tax matters
- Analyze and reconcile tax related accounts and net sales accounts in balance sheet
- Execute relevant SOX key controls and update Indirect Tax master data
- Coordinate other activities related to tax compliance matters
The skills you bring:
- Master degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or the equivalent experience
- English and Japanese language proficiency, both in speaking and writing, if you speak Korean that will be a plus
- Experienced in managing Tax compliance work and use of automation tools
- Good Accounting & Reporting skills
- Financial Acumen & Analysis Skills
