The Imaging Manager – Product Sales & Business Development is responsible for leading the sales performance, demand and forecast planning, product allocation, and business development of the imaging product portfolio (mirrorless, DSLR, Lens, DSC, Video, PTZ) as well as is responsible for the B2B Business Development activities.

This role plays a critical part in monthly sales forecasting, market analytics and development of commercial go-to-market strategies.

Pivotal role to act as key window person to national sales organisation and key contributor to achievement of imaging sales targets, market share goals and profit targets

Streamlines Imaging business coordination across EU15 territory through daily contact with NSO, PM and internal teams

Responsibilities
  • Consolidates Imaging product Groups business development activities, e.g. investment management, budgeting, forecasting etc for B2C and B2B and streamlines business coordination. Acts as escalation point for NSO request and issues on Imaging products
  • Implements the sales strategy (where to play and how to play) of the imaging product category across all sales channels (retail, e-commerce) and gathers approvals on investment and go to market requests from senior manager
  • Lead the monthly sales forecasting process for Imaging products, ensuring consistency across categories. Ensures demand projections are aligned with business targets and market trends as well that corrective actions are taken in time by the team
  • Oversee demand planning by working closely with supply chain, sales, and finance teams to ensure product availability aligns with forecasted demand and promotional activities for Imaging products
  • Manage product allocation across channels and regions to optimize sell-through and prevent overstock or shortages, especially during peak seasons and product launches for Imaging products
  • Drive product sales development, including new product introductions, lifecycle and pricing strategies, and promotional execution in close collaboration with product management
  • Ensure analysis of market trends (B2B/B2C), customer insights, and competitor performance to inform assortment, pricing, and growth strategies together with Imaging team
  • Coordinate with marketing on imaging cross product campaign planning, product launches, and seasonal sales programs and cascading to Imaging team ensuring consistency
  • Ensure consistent tracking on category KPIs such as revenue, margin, sell-through, attach rate, and stock health/channel stock as well as present regular performance reviews and actionable insights to senior leadership on imaging products
  • Coaches and leads 5 specialists with regular communication, performance reviews and mentoring
Qualifications

Skills and knowledge required:

  • High skills in marketing highly technical products in a B2C and B2B environment
  • Strategic thinking, and able to translate into operational improvements
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Languages: English fluency essential, European languages desirable
  • Significant sales development experience in consumer electronic organization.

Experience required:

  • Relevant Business Degree with proven experience in Product Management, Product Marketing or sales management
  • Experience of coaching and developing a team with some people management experience could be an advantage

Job Family: Sales, Marketing & Business Development

Salary range: £61.908 - £74,588 plus 10& % bonus dependant on experience

Grade: 13
